History Of A Time To Come songs Product Information
History Of A Time To Come album for sale by Sabbat was released Aug 12, 2003 on the Noise label. Though it had served as the birthplace of heavy metal back in the '70s, not to mention revitalized the genre via the New Wave of British Heavy Metal at the start of the '80s, England had watched its previously uncontested supremacy quickly slip away across the pond as the decade unfolded. Leading the charge were bands like Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax (all of them diligent students of these historical developments in British rock), who, after absorbing all the lessons they could, transformed them into their own, beautifully vile perversion: thrash metal. History Of A Time To Come CD music contains a single disc with 9 songs. ...See Full Description

||old school euro metal at its finest|
great cross between thrash and speed metal. with a dash of the cheesy fantasy aspect. an old relible.

History Of A Time To Come album for sale In a time when thrash was king, these guys could have been gods. Unfortunately with the departure of the lead vocalist, they could not continue to create the vicious thrash metal that they had become known for. Guitarrist Andy Sneap went on to become the producer for many of today's best metal acts, keeping the image alive.

History Of A Time To Come CD music Sometimes you have to "fit in" in order to be different. Well, Sabbat have certainly done that. The music is typical 80's thrash (fast guitar riffs, good guitar solos, and drumming that makes your pint of rot-gut shake right off the poker-table). The voice is wretched (that's bad)... but the lyrics will have your Schlitz-slurping mind mesmerized. Not since Hamlet spoke to poor Yorick have I read such skillful semantics. The bonus - it's all about DEVIL WORSHIP! (this is just a joke, in case you care). Just know that I'm good at thumb-wrestling.

History Of A Time To Come buy CD music Sabbat kicks ass! I was into them when I was at school (late 80s/ early ninties) and I had the urge to revisit a fantastic band whose riffing is fantastic and whose lyrics are intelligently thought out and delivered. The urge cam on after witnessing their gig at Download 09. Awesome. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who likes thought provoking metal.

||great album for its time|
History Of A Time To Come songs this was a really good effort by this uk outfit but sadly it was 1987 and the whole thrash explosion was not so new anymore, had this album come out in 84 or 85 i think sabbat would have gone a lot further... ....
