Gary is still one of the best blues players around today. From the up beat and alive "Texas Blues" to the more reserved and hauntingly beautiful "As the years go passing by", this album is a must for all blues and Gary Moore fans.

| The blues for evermore
This was one of the albums that first got me into the blues. I can remember buying it when I was 13 and listening to "Oh Pretty woman", "Walking by myself", "Texas strut", "Midnight blues", Please stop messing round" and "Moving on" religiously right through until the age of 17.

Can it get better than this? In my humble opinion, no. Blues. Rock. Guitar. Perfect. Was sold on Gary the moment I heard "Still Got the Blues".

| Gary Moore playing the blues in turbo mode
I recently saw Gary Moore at the Bishopstock Blues festival and he still includes many of these songs in his " Blues " set, sheer magic brought to some blues standards played with a masters touch with a blend of speed, power and yet still mountains of soul.
