Hidden Gem
This album didn't sell as well as others and therefore isn't as well known, but man, it's a real hidden gem. While not all the songs are great, the overall feel of the album really gels. The first four tracks hit pretty hard and are all solid chunks of AC/DC power. Rising and House on Fire are mid-tempo rock with very memorable choruses. Flick of the Switch is a classic scorcher and then Nervous Shakedown is a groover in the vain of For Those about to Rock or Rock in Roll Ain't Noise Polution. Landslide ups the tempo again, but it's not one of my faves. Guns for Hire is a terrific jolt and was a great idea for a single. Why it didn't chart higher is beyond me. Deep in the Hole and Bedlam in Belgium are back to mid-tempo, not bad tunes, but they don't do much for me. Badlands has a massive, recurring riff that goes straight for the throat, a real overlooked slab of rock.

ONE OF THERE BEST
i really like this album, i think its also the time they went back to having there older brother producing it again, there isn't a bad song on this album, from start to end, its a really great party album, rising power has a super good chorus, this house is on fire, is amazing,my person favorite is the classic riff, what a super song, and nervous shakedown is a great song. i think this is better than for those about to rock,

AMAZING!
THIS ALBUM IS NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING! Brian's voice is perfect, the riffs are great and solid. Some of my favs are BADLANDS, LANDSLIDE (WHICH IS PURE 100% ROCK N' ROLL), GUNS FOR HIRE, RISING POWER, and BELDAM IN BELGIEM...just a great powerful album :)
