Perfect Trance, Vol. 2.0 Music Review
Average Rating: (4.8 out of 5 stars)

trance to dance
This cd lives up to the title it does puts you in a trance enough to escape everyday perils and before you know it you're on the dancefloor carefree.

Awesome
Her beats are insanely good. Every song you listen to gets deeper and deeper the more you listen to it. Awesome, my favorite DJ by far

Perfect Trance is an apt title
Utterly fantastic, top-notch trance combines new-age, ethereal arrangements/vocals with hard, pulsating, progressive 'rising and falling' melodies that wrap around your soul and bring you to your feet.
"Summer Calling," "Fable" and especially the second 'tropical island' half of the "Look of Love 2002" are simply beautiful examples of dance/trance that have that cathartic, waves-and-gulls beach atmosphere, climaxing with the dolphin/whale sounds of "Silent Heart."
In the second half the 'flying' theme takes precedence and, of course, is a perfect symbolic correlative to the effect of trance. After Ms. Solar brings things down a bit midway thru with the robotic, suggestive 'Can I Touch You There?" things really take off with the absolutely trancendental 'Time to Fly'--- heavy escalating synths make you feel as if you've soared right up to the Pearly Gates of Heaven. 'Riding a Star' is the best blend of ethereal and slammin' progressive -- this really transports you into another world. And the best way to describe the final song 'Angel': if Giorgio Moroder was doing the score for the film "Neverending Story" today this is what it would sound like --lush, epiphanal, perfect.
Along with 4 Strings' "Believe," it's the best trance album of the year so far.
