||Good Old Fashioned Horror Fare|
Remembered cowering behind the sofa when this was on as a Kid, and just had to have it. It's a great Old Sci-Fi film, full of the cliches that populated the Movies of that time.

The Wicked Witch wasn't the only one to melt on the big screen. The loveable Thing did it better. We have to lobby for a colorized version and hit the archives for bloopers and outakes and featurettes on the makng of.

Although made in 1951 without special effects and computer wizardry, the original Thing has stood the test of time and remains the first and best Alien movie.

Again, Kenneth Tobey makes the whole situation quite believeable. Fast paced. Makes you feel you're in it with them. Scary. Remember, keep watching those skies.
