Contemporary Gospel Singer, Songwriter, Speaker Noreen Corkum was born and raised in Enfield, Nova Scotia, Canada, the tenth of fourteen children. Encouraged and inspired by both parents to make music an important part of her life, she does not remember a time when she did not sing. By eight years of age, she was participating in school and church concerts, and singing three-part harmony in a choral group. At fifteen, she received her first guitar and although she had been writing poems since age eight, it was not until she was eighteen that she began to put her poetry to music.1998 was a pivotal year for Noreen releasing her debut CD entitled "The Master Healer's Hands."
