Sam Cooke at the Copa music CDs Customer Reviews
| Average Rating: | |
| SAM COOKE I BOUGHT THIS CD FOR A FRIEND AND HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO LISTEN WITH HIM. THE CD WAS WONDERFUL! By nanlejones (HOUSTON, TX) |
| Crossover? Cooke apparently wanted to crossover to the audience that the Copa attracted. Why? Here was a fantastically gifted vocalist doing a Sammy Davis, IMHO. Nevertheless, this is an intriguing recording done in 4.0 from a long-ago era. His talent shines through the mediocrity like pearls before swine. Good sonics but I think his vocal mic distorted just a little. By Jay (Cleveland) |
