Born in Easington District, ST. Thomas, Jamaica, West Indies, Glenford S. Robinson was influenced by the great ones, Bob Marley, Gregory Isaac, Peter Tosh, and Yellow Man, just to name a few. Surrounded by the political violence of that era, and the constant turmoil in Jamaica, he looked toward music for emotional relief. After arriving from Jamaica, he resided in the ST. Albans and South Jamaica Area of Queens, NY, and attended Andrew Jackson high school and later joined the US Navy. During his time in the Navy, he began his art of rapping Reggae for his friends for fun. However, he later became serious about his art when friends began to tell him that his songs were very good.
