Starring Lucinda Dickey, Michael Chambers, Adolfo Quinones
Director Joel Silberg
Three aspiring dancers take their best shot and pop and lock, at the big time in this invigorating romp that features a cameo by Ice-T.

Kelly's a dedicated dance student. When she hooks up with celebrated breakdancers Ozone and Turbo, there's no telling how far the three of them can go. Today it's the L.A. club scene, tomorrow it may be Broadway. The music score features the hits, "Breakin'...There's No Stoppin Us," and "Freakshow on the Dance Floor."

Breakin' Reviews:

"...[The dancers are] exhaustingly good..." -- Vincent Canby, New York Times

"...Light-spirited....The [picture] will delight anyone who enjoys breakdancing....Filmed in [an] energetic style..." -- Cart., Variety

5 stars The real boogaloo's
Hi, I'm a popper myself I've been in so many break battles around australia. I just wanted to say that poppers around da world should watch this cause this is the basis although it doesn't look very easy u just have to analyse it properly. I would suggest that all Liquid poppers, ravers, lockers should also research stuff in the net it is a different life. now in the movie it was focused on ozone more he is not bad it's just that he is a good locker but not as good as turbo in popping, on the other hand pop n taco the bad guy is one of the best in world he has just joined the electric boogaloo's he was excellent. It would be very interesting to see him take on Boogaloo shrimp hardcore poppin and hittin anywayz the movie is awesome if u need 2 know more abt dancin feel free to mail methanks a lot CD universe u guys are legends.

Left Behind II: Tribulation Force
Left Behind II: Tribulation Force DVD  (2002)

Breakin' review
DVD $5.75  4.3 stars
Second in the ongoing series of Christian films based on best-selling novels by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, TRIBULATION FORCE follows up where the enormously popular LEFT BEHIND left off. Confusion and chaos ensue after the mysterious vanishings of millions of people, and U.N. Secretary General Nicolae Carpathia (Gordon Currie) seeks to pacify the world with a new temporal ideology, one in which religion would be made obsolete. A group of rebels, cognizant of the nefarious Carpathia's true identity, form the Tribulation Force to combat his foretold rule of darkness and to save as many souls as they can. As prophesied in the Bible, witnesses of God have descended to Earth in Jerusalem, and Carpathia refuses them a public audience. The reporter Buck Williams, played by Kirk Cameron (TV's GROWING PAINS), and pilot Ray Steele (Brad Johnson) infiltrate Carpathia's tight circle of power to inform the world of God's message--via live television. Interwoven throughout the film is the budding love story between Buck and Chloe Steele, Ray Steele's ...

DON'T SAY A WORD: When psychiatrist Nathan Conrad discovers that his daughter has been kidnapped, the only way he can get her back is to pry critical information from the mind of a seriously disturbed teenager with a secret stuck deep in a blocked memory. The Conrads are the prototypical happy family: Nathan, a successful doctor (Michael Douglas); his loving wife, Aggie (Famke Janssen), who is bedridden with a broken leg suffered in a skiing accident; and eight-year-old Jessie (Skye McCole Bartusiak), an extemely intelligent and well-loved young girl. But late one night Jessie is abducted and used as collateral for a dangerous group of men who will stop at nothing to recover a stolen ten-million-dollar jewel. Gary Fleder (KISS THE GIRLS) has crafted an excellent thriller shot on the streets of New York City, getting help from a fine supporting cast, including Oliver Platt as one of Dr. Conrad's medical colleagues, Jennifer Esposito as a cop out to get to the bottom of a series of unexplained murders, and Sean Bean as a violent criminal who will kill anyone who gets in his way. But this is Douglas's movie, starring as a loving family man and dedicated doctor who has to compromise his ethics in order to save his daughter's life and free a teenager from a dangerous psychosis. HIGH CRIMES: Based on the novel by Joseph Finder, HIGH CRIMES is an engaging courtroom thriller that features standout lead performances by Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman. Judd is Claire Kubik, or is she? A successful defense attorney with a seemingly perfect life, Claire is shocked to discover that her husband, Tom (Jim Caviezal), has been arrested by the United States Marine Corp. for slaughtering innocent civilians in El Salvador many years before. Not knowing who to believe, Claire eventually accepts her husband's pleas of innocence and sets out to defend him. With the help of wild-card ex-Marine lawyer Charlie Grimes (Freeman) ...
Being Julia
Being Julia DVD  (2004) Widescreen

DVD $9.79  3.7 stars
As she enters her early 40s, London theater actress Julia Lambert (Annette Bening) starts having a nervous breakdown. She still rules the West End, but is growing too old for ingenue parts. When Tom Fennell (Shaun Evans), an adoring lad half her age, comes into her life, a clandestine affair begins. Though she's happy for a while, Julia eventually winds up in a face-off with a Tom's other, much younger lover (Lucy Punch). Luckily, the spirit of Julia's cantankerous old acting coach (London theater legend Michael Gambon) follows Julia around offering some tough-love encouragement. Set in the late 1930s, this is a fine costume comedy-drama about the sorrows and joys of art. The eternal question of "when am I acting and when am I myself?" has seldom been addressed as intelligently as it is here; Bening seems to be not only tangling with her own status as an aging beauty, but also with the limits of her own acting abilities, and it's a ...

Rosario Dawson produces and stars in DESCENT, a project directed by her real-life friend Talia Lugacy, and one close to the actress's heart. A very dark film, DESCENT assures viewers from the very first frame that something is going to go wrong. There's just something off about the colors, the sets, the slow-moving dialogue. Many critics have said the film begins with Dawson as a carefree college girl navigating the fun, party-filled world of college. But Dawson's character, Maya, is not your typical sorority girl. Instead, she's a smart, serious student who spends much of her time alone and has apparently not had a date in months. So when a good-looking guy named Jared asks her out and will not take no for an answer, she reluctantly accepts, having no idea that their short-lived romance will culminate in his date-raping her in a basement. DESCENT is about revenge and also about the downward spiral that a young woman endures as a result of being sexually violated. Rather than telling ...
