20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of Pat Travers album by Pat Travers was released Jul 15, 2003 on the Polydor label. Recorded between 1976 & 1981. 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of Pat Travers songs Includes liner notes by Scott Schinder. 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of Pat Travers album This is part of "20th Century Masters: The Millenium Collection" series. 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of Pat Travers CD music Since Pat Travers managed only two pop singles chart entries in the U. S., reaching number 56 with his live version of Little Walter's "Boom Boom (Out Go the Lights)" in 1979 and number 50 with a cover of Bob Marley's "Is This Love" in 1980, the assemblage of a best-of is more subjective than it might be for another artist. | I agree with the other reviewers For those unfamilar with him, there are shades of ZZ Top, Thin Lizzy and Johnny Winter in here. It is a good additon for 70s/80s genre rock fans. A lot of tunes you will recognize but be unaware of who did them. By abatar (Irving, TX) |
Not Boring This is just like a greatist hits cd with a good song selection. It's not cookie cutter rock & you won't be bored. By mpckmcjmc (midwest, USA)
Classic This is a great cd a must have for any collection By souluvthectx (Corpus Christi, TX USA)
Balls To The Walls Pat Travers is one of the elite few artists who can take his music and boogie you to the NTH degree. In other words, get this cd ASAP. Guaranteed no regrets. Pat's accomplices are three of the best back-up musicians. Best thing to do is check out his whole library of discs also. By Cody (Okieland, USA)
GREAT COLLECTION as a casual fan this is about as good as it gets. the core of PAT'S hits and concert faves are here.glad to see these songs get the remastered care that they needed. By cobrafunk (edmond, OK)
