4 stars A treasure for teens
Lovely interpretation of Jane Yolen's book. Very different, as movies of books are, yet it works well. Is true to the spirit of the original. Young Kirsten Dunst does a fine portrayal of the modern heroine who goes back in time to the understand the Nazi concentration camps and its affect on her people, her family.

5 stars Wizard of Oz Meets the Holocaust
This is an imaginative tale that introduces young and old viewers alike, to the traggedies and horrors of the Holocaust. Some scenes are intense. I highly recommend this movie for story and history portrayed.
