Zero Hour was built from the ground up to take prog-metal to a new level - Metal Maniacs.
Zero Hour's intricate riffs and progressions remind me of a more metallic Dream Theater meets early Megadeth meets Meshuggah (but with a vocalist who can sing!) - Hard Radio
A classic revisited.
Before their ground breaking Sensory debut, The Towers of Avarice, Zero Hour had released an EP in the hopes of scoring a recording contract. The self-financed Metamorphosis established the group as a prog metal tour de force upon its issuance in 1998; an initial pressing of 2,000 units sold out quickly, leaving fans worldwide anxiously awaiting more Zero Hour material. The praises of the press flowed from around the globe, and the self-titled debut garnered raves from Snake Pit (Germany), Hard Roxx (UK), and many more. Michael Rensen of the premier German magazine Rock Hard proclaimed, 'Zero Hour is one of the five Best Progressive Newcomers in the late '90s!'

| Metamorphosis Music Review Average Rating: (4.5 out of 5 stars) Zero Hour is amazing When I put Metamorphosis in my cd player at work, it probably stayed there for about a week before I took it out and put something else in. I've listened to it constantly. Zero Hour is an amazing band with great talent. Jasun Tipton is one of the best guitarists in metal and by far one of the most under-rated guitar players out there in the music industry today. Troy Titpon and Mike Guy work very well together, the drums and bass are so heavy and perfect. Erik's voice is extremely weird and unique, but in good ways. I think his voice is really good. Metamorphosis is a great album and I love it. Submitted by Jerry (Phoenix, AZ, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
very special Really, really special! Yes, very craftly musicians, but with tons of fantasy. Sometimes reminds of Dream Theater, somethimes - unusual exciting heavy metal efforts. If you like heavy prog, you're into the right band, but if not - buy it anyways! Submitted by eddiesarmy79 (pittsburgh, pa) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Great, Great, Great!!! This album is awesome, the way it challenges you as a listener from the first notes is beyond compare. Dark lyrics and a true prog metal sound that blows your mind, in times when there are just too many "prog bands" that sound the same.(it´s a shame I can only use 5 stars!!!) Nothing Special Really nothing special. Yes, very craftly musicians, but with a lack of fantasy. Sometimes reminds a Dream Theater, somethimes - usual boring heavy metal efforts. If you're like heavy prog, you're into the right band, but if not - don't take it. Submitted by vittorio (Russia) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 0 of 1 found this helpful.

Metamorphosis music CDs
$48.65 MUSIC TO CRASH YOUR CAR TO VOL. 1 [BOX] includes a 57 page full color booklet with band photos and liner notes.
If you need a serious shot of the Crüe, drink up. Music to Crash Your Car To, Vol. 1 is the first four-disc installment of yet another re-releasing of the band's material, though this time the entire catalog is getting the treatment in three separate boxes. This initial set covers the band's halcyon/hell-raising early days of 1981-1987 (i.e., Too Fast for Love, Shout at the Devil, Theatre of Pain, and Girls, Girls, Girls). That alone recommends this as the best box to buy if only grabbing one. Serious Crüesers will no doubt be disappointed that there's not much new going on here apart from the fact that the first disc brings together both the original Leathür Records versions and Elektra Records remixes from MC's debut album, Too Fast for Love (though to many diehards that's a pretty big chunk of bait). One would have thought that there'd have been more genuine bonus material (as opposed to reissued bonus material) -- a much fairer deal for the faithful. But new fans and those extremos who want the Leathür album ...

| | R Bruce Late Bloomer CD (2007)
Metamorphosis MP3 Album
$18.99 R. Bruce Singer/Songwriter/ComedianFrom Tidewater, VA to the singer/songwriter scene of Austin, TX in the mid 70's, back to the acoustic rooms of the east coast in the 80's, R. Bruce honed his unique, humorous songwriting style. A talented singer and guitarist, he delighted audiences performing his insightfully hilarious original songs. In the early 90's, (after a continuingly successful stint in rehab for alcohol addiction) he combined his musical, songwriting roots with his natural knack for humor and became a popular headliner on the national comedy club circuit. He has been called a cross between George Carlin and Jimmy Buffett. To quote the College Music Journal, "Not only can he make you laugh with his humor, as a song writer, he's actually quite good."The Washington Post said, "R. Bruce mixes outrageous observational humor with catchy melodies and fluid finger picking on acoustic guitar". And the Freelance Star called him, "A unique voice in a crowded field." His "unique voice" is his humor. Among the myriad of singer/songwriters, there are very few who write truly funny songs and among comedians who include some music in their shows, there are very few who can really perform it. As John Starling (Grammy Award winning artist of Seldom Scene fame) said, "He's dedicated his life to the service of the only two things in life that are worth anything. That's music and humor."It was also Starling who captured in one sentence the essence of R. Bruce's performance when he said simply... "Humor is his band." His are the kind of songs that people tend to learn and share with their friends. Ian Gillan, the British singer and songwriter of Deep Purple and Jesus Christ Superstar fame said, "I am now the self-appointed ...
