| | Rammstein Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da CDs (2009) Bonus Tracks; Deluxe Edition; Digipak
Death Connection CD music
$17.79 Anyone familiar with the industrial-metal band's dark sense of irony should take one look at the title of Rammstein's 2009 album LIEBE IST FUR ALLE DA ("Love Is There For Everyone") and conclude that this one is a mean monster. Combining the tightness and punch of their 1998 album SEHNSUCHT with the musicianship and elaborate textures of their later work, LIEBE IST is a grand achievement, skillfully dividing its time between razor sharp metal rockers like "B********" or the opening theme song "Rammlied" and nostalgic, cabaret pieces that conjure the spirits of Weil and Brecht at a goth club. Best of the latter is the naked and haunting closer "Roter Sand" but little touches of a sinister yesteryear are everywhere, like the fake vaudeville music in "Haifisch" or the soundtrack strings of "Wiener Blut" which are eventually overcome by a guitar crunching juggernaut. This strange mix ...

| | Candiria What Doesn't Kill You CD (2004)
Death Connection album
$16.29 Candiria delivers a typically diverse record with What Doesn't Kill You..., which follows a near-tragic accident that mangled the band's tour van (hence the album cover and liner notes). Thankfully, the group doesn't embrace the by now dull formulas of the "metalcore" genre (i.e., Slayer meets Agnostic Front with death vocals), instead dancing around such boundaries with snatches of hip-hop, jazz, and dub -- and now, melodic singing and choruses, which punctuate "The Nameless King," "Down," and "Remove Yourself," all a bit of a departure from the band's odd time signatures and chugging math-metal guitars. While the aforementioned tracks try a bit too hard to cross over, they're still memorable, intriguing, and thankfully devoid of any emo drippiness. Elsewhere, the more aggressive tracks ("Blood," "1000 Points of Light") are compelling maelstroms of dissonant riffs, rhythmic divergences, snatches of psychedelic electronics, and Carley Coma's convincing and diverse vocal approach, which varies from rap to hardcore shouts and growls. "9MM Solution" might be too "urban" for those wanting more off-center distorto-riffs, yet ...
| | Alex Kash My Voices CD (2000)
Death Connection CD music
$17.09 This CD, "My Voices" is an excellent example of the tones and timbres, and differing styles that I use to say my message. That message is about Love, Healing, and Light, reflected through my experience of life. The music is a marriage of Old Soul, Rhythm & Blues, Folk, Rock and Native American (I'm part Tlingit and Aleut). I wrote and/or co-wrote all of the songs, and played and sang everything (guitar, bass, keyboards, programmed percussion and strings/horns) on all but 2 songs: Read My Mind and Excited, which are recordings of a band named 'Short Stories' I was in. On those 2 songs, I sing lead and play electrified 12 string acoustic guitar. My website, which also includes my discography, history and art, is at: www.alexkash.comREVIEW OF "MY VOICES", BY PHILLIP JOYCE: "The simple review of this album is that it is not normal.Anywhere you are expecting to make comparisons, you will fail, because the music only truly defines itself, and nothing else. So, I won't bother trying to make comparisons here, but, I will tell you that you will hear some extraodinary vocals on this ...
| | Tracy Randall Sinners Have Souls Too CD (2007)
Death Connection music CDs
$13.65 Creative, Talented and Charismatic are just a few words to describe this young force in the field of entertainment. Born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana, tracy’s music and entertainment career has spanned over fifteen plus years of hard work and determination. Following a call from God, his unique talent was that he never aspired to become a singer, composer or the young executive that he is today. He is constantly reinventing his musical franchise. He set out to becoming an electrical engineer, but as fate had it, tracy randall saw that there was another calling in-store for him instead and that was one word MUSIC. His vast love for music is very diverse. Influenced at an early age by the legendary genius of Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Peabo Bryson and Glen Jones just to name a few. tracy took a “leap of faith” and followed the desires of his heart.Opposed to becoming that electrical engineer, he opted for a career in entertainment. He engineered a major recording contract with T neck/Island Black Music in October 1996. "Now I just want to create great music and bring people closer to God and give them hope and direction for their life. I feel that it is part of the reason for my journey while I’m here on this earth," says randall. With the shuffling of labels in 1999, the Polygram/Universal merger prompted this great talent to search for another recording home. He has packed a new record deal with Lavish Records, LLC and partnered with Corner Boyz Worldwide, LLC to executive produce along with Alex “Bruh” Brown, Rodney “Baby Stone” Jones, and Christopher “Jarloose” Todd to distribute his own musical projects. The first single released entitled ...
