Sweet Baby Dreams songs
$12.15 Brian Kinder grew up in Fredericktown, Missouri where as a kid he sang in churches, school programs and other social settings. During his teen years he was the drummer of a hometown rock and roll band. After graduating high school Brian spent several years in the Air Force where he took up playing the guitar and writing songs. He moved to central Arkansas in 1981 and toured for several years performing at churches and youth camps throughout the region.Brian attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor degree in music education. He has taught music and visual arts in the Little Rock public school district for the last 16 years, first at Booker Arts Magnet elementary, and his current assignment at Washington Magnet elementary school. For many years Brian wrote children's songs for school performances, festivals and plays. At the encouragement of a fellow teacher, he auditioned and was accepted into the Arkansas Arts Council's roster of touring artists, and has been performing children's concerts for the past 3 years. Brian is quickly gaining notoriety as an original and unique artist of children's music. His concerts are lively and interactive, as he combines his guitar playing talent and his whimsical song writing skills to amuse and entertain children of all ages. He weaves together stories and music to stir the imagination with tales drawn from his own life as well as from the lives of his family and friends. He has the ability, through his songs to bring both young and old together as they laugh ...
| | Raffi Baby Beluga CD (1980)
Sweet Baby Dreams album
$11.49 Canadian children's performer Raffi brings a gentle, tuneful, and--most importantly--relaxed air to his songs. BABY BELUGA features four Raffi-penned originals, including the terrific title track, which begins with real whale sounds taken from underwater recordings. "Baby Beluga" is one of Raffi's best-known tunes and serves as the centerpiece of his 1984 video, A YOUNG CHILDREN'S CONCERT WITH RAFFI.
In addition to the Raffi compositions, there are a number of popular, traditional songs, such as "This Old Man," "Kumbaya," and "Oats and Beans and Barley," on BABY BELUGA. All of the tracks on this recording are performed with his ...

Includes liner notes by Ross Bagdasarian, Jr. (son of David Seville, a.k.a. Ross Bagdasarian).
The faux furry trio was named Alvin, Theodore, and Simon, after executives at Liberty Records, and they've prospered well into the '90s (the franchise continues in the hands of Bagdasarian's son). GREATEST HITS, however, cuts off around 1965. Standout tracks include the still amusing original "Chipmunk Song" and its less well known follow-up "Alvin's Harmonica," plus an original ("Alvin's Twist") cashing on the then-current dance craze, and covers of early Beatles songs.
Includes liner notes by Don Ovens.
Digitally remastered by Dave McEowen (Capitol Mastering).
Personnel includes: Ross Bagdasarian.
Liner Note Author: Don Ovens.
Illustrator: Ross Bagdasarian.

| | Shelly Berg Blackbird CD (2005)
Sweet Baby Dreams music CDs
$9.59 Normally soft-spoken, Shelly Berg can be a real powerhouse when he plays piano. In the past he has shown that he could keep up with Oscar Peterson in his prime, swinging just as hard and with comparable technique while displaying his own musical personality. "Blackbird" generally has slower tempoes (with a couple exceptions) but it is just as impressive. Teamed with bassist Chuck Berghofer and drummer Gregg Field, Berg performs jazz standards plus the Beatles "Blackbird" (which in this version starts in seven/four time before becoming a blues), a particularly inventive rendition of Pat Metheny's "Question and Answer," Stevie Wonder's "Blame It on the Sun," Billy Joel's "She's Always a Woman" (which with this treatment really sounds like a jazz piece) and two of his originals. Berg turns all of the material into swinging jazz and sounds relaxed at every tempo. Because he is based in Los Angeles and spends ...

| | Blackmore's Night Village Lanterne CD (2006) Bonus Tracks
Sweet Baby Dreams music CDs
$14.35 By now, longtime Ritchie Blackmore fans have come to realize that the renaissance-influenced Blackmore's Night is certainly not a mere detour for the former Deep Purple/Rainbow guitarist. This truly seems to be Blackmore's musical calling of the 21st century, as he and singer Candice Night have issued their sixth album in almost as many years with 2006's The Village Lanterne. Blackmore's Night is often looked at as a throwback to a time long ago, but The Village Lanterne will not be mistaken for authentic renaissance music any time soon, as songs such as the album-opening "25 Years" mix together sounds both new and old. And although it's undoubtedly Blackmore and his affiliation with his two ...
