Empire falls to chamber music
The best Airplane album? Maybe. Succinct and heartfelt. I remember reading a review in High Fidelity,(never kind to the bands of the day) in '68 saying the band sounded like they'd been playing together for years.

Crown of Creation was the best album put out by Jefferson Airplane -- and it withstands the passing of time quite well.
