2 stars She's lost focus!!
Her music has lost it's unique touch. This albums songs lack passion. Don't know what happened when she wrote this one but it's definately not a good thing.

Pamela Williams came into the arena playing strong on her first three cd's, her first and third being classics. The best asset to Ms. Williams style was it was not, at all commercial. She would always bring it a little smooth and a whole lot of classic. This time around she goes almost completely smooth old school Kenny G. That is not a bad thing, it's just not her thing. This cd passes on the power and strength of two tracks "Unconditional" and the title track "The Perfect Love". Both songs takes us back to the early days of Pamela's one on soul sound. But most of the time, missing the hot again Teena Marie and the touch of Coltrane notes hurts.
