A new music category has emerged, and it’s called Ryan Montana.Hailed as one of the most gifted and original new talents, Ryan displays his soulful energy in his new debut CD, A DANCE CALLED LIFE. With the release of his debut CD A DANCE CALLED LIFE, the brilliant new music artist soars with a combination of searing soul and silky jazz-pop. DANCE breaks the boundaries of music with a completely unique mix of jazz, pop and R&B that takes music where it’s never gone before.Ryan developed his breakthrough sound as a young musician in the Rocky Mountains, after honing and refining his music through years of study and performing on the East Coast. He began his musical pursuits actively at the age of 12, introduced to the world of jazz, soul, R&B and Pop through his father’s vast record collection '" and constant encouragement. Finding his musical voice with the sax, Montana developed his own style by paying tribute to his inspirations, which ranged across the entire musical spectrum. Ryan pays tribute to several, including Bill Withers and Curtis Mayfield, by covering their songs in DANCE.As he progressed, including years of formal training, Montana became a staple at major jazz festivals, including:-- Stanford Jazz Workshop & Festival-- Aspen Jazz Festival-- Snowmass Jazz Festival sponsored by the Thelonious Monk -- Jazz Institute-- North Carolina International Jazz Festival-- Jazz Montana Festival-- Acqui Terme Jazz Festival (Italy)Looking to find the right singer to match his musical vision, Montana finally decided he would handle the vocal chores. The result is pure perfection.Ryan’s covers reflect his musical journey '" he has built a new category based on the foundation of the music that’s inspired him. The result is a new approach filled with a wholly different kind of richness and texture that honors Ryan’s musical influences. Indeed, Ryan is constantly honoring his influences..Ryan Montana’s life is all about music. When he’s not performing, he’s recording, producing '" or listening.Montana’s A DANCE CALLED LIFE blends originals and covers to create a CD that completely captivates the listener. In addition to his first CD, Ryan is also a producer on several new projects where he’s bringing his musical sensibilities to a range of new artists. From his original compositions including the title track along with tracks such as “Soul Water,” “Then A Secret, Now Goodbye,” “Faith Avenue/Never A Tear,” “Crisco” or his extraordinary renditions of Bill Withers’ “Use Me” and Ric Ocasek’s “Drive,” Ryan Montana bursts on the scene with a bold sax sound and haunting vocal style that redefines ‘smooth.’

| | Hapa Surf Madness CD (1997)
Dance Called Life
$13.59 An album of surf rock from the Hawaiian fusion duo Hapa. The album is largely new material done in the surf style, but there are covers here, too, on which Hapa always excels. The album opens with a short bit of theme music for the Axel and Barneldo characters taken on by Flanagan and Kaneali'i to set the mood, and moves into the classic "Walk Don't Run." A few new compositions by Flanagan in the surf rock genre follow, referencing every major act of the era along the way, even enlisting the help of Don Ho for a single line of lyrics. The guitars are always slightly fuzzed and always bright sounding, following the contour runs favored in the style. An odd piece in dedication to Flanagan's surf teacher comes along in the form of "Gregory Anthony's Tubular Symphony," making use of ...

Then again in April of 1991, Passion recorded three more tracks... "Longtrain", "You Belong To Me" & "Comin' Home". At the time, these tracks were not released to the public as an official release. In 1991, bassist Paul Smith II was replaced by Jody Blevins and in 1992, lead vocalist Billy Weatherman was replaced by Gibby Sheppard. It was this line-up who recorded the melodic rock/hair metal CD "Loaded Gun" released in January 1994. The songs "Loaded Gun" & "Remember The Last Time" recieved a solid amount of radio airplay. The CD sold extremely well from the time of release until the band broke up ...
| | Denny Lee Truth CD (2008)
Dance Called Life
$10.15 the whole truth and nothing but the truth has very little meaning in today’s world. It is completely ignored by our government, our politicians and especially, our law enforcement. As I put it so gently in one verse of my song taken from “Uncle Sam’s World” “they wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them in the ass.” What this CD represents is an honest look at our world as it is today. One out of every hundred people in our United States of America is a convicted felon. We have become the laughing stock of the world. This CD wasn’t meant to be pretty, it was meant to be nasty. It was meant to be listened too and it was meant to tell people the truth. Those of you on probation are feeling “Johnny Law” and you’ll know what I’m referring to in these songs. I cover a lot of territory in these songs but I also speak the truth. This CD will be bought by those that believe our country is going to hell in a hand-basket in a hurry. This CD will be bought by people that are rebels against what the United States of America has to offer them. Probation Gods refers to the Probation Officer and what is said is the truth believe it or not. I know someone on probation and believe me; these people think they are God. The Department of Correction should be re-named the Department of Corruption because that’s what they are doing to our young ...
