Marco Minnemann - Extreme Drumming Movie Review Average Rating: (4.3 out of 5 stars)   Awesome drumming...where's the teaching?
If you're a big Minnemann fan, then this is a great DVD for you. It's packed with performances, which are all awesome, but where's the teaching? He only shows a few little exercises and tricks to the viewer, but as far as his actual techniques go, he shows nothing of them (besides finger and Moeller strokes). Buy it if you like Minnemann, but the average drummer that just wants to learn another's style will probably get nothing out of this DVD except a few ideas on things to show off.

Extreme!
This is extreme! Marco really sets drumming in perspective. He's playing shows some of the most advanced and extreme techniques known to date. I've never seen anything like this. There are many great drummers out there who are admired and some of them might inspired a young Marco, but they all seem to come in 2nd after Marco who really kicks a..!

first at all, i just wanna rate this dvd as four stars and a half. Is a very nice dvd. Marco minnemann is god,he shows the interdependence magic. he gave me idea to make a deeper a approach to my 4-limb playing. in addition to, he teaches some of his book stuff. the thing about this video is that, marco takes you to another level of thinkin about drumming.
the missings for me: it is a double sided dvd. (they get damaged more easily.

Great instructional video for independence...This guy, Marco, has it all---technique and conception. His independence is amazing and beyond anything I am familiar with todate. It will take you one step further into the twilight zone of not only extreme but also super extreme independence. Minneman is still young and if he grows as a musician, I predict he will be one of the few on top of the drum world within a few years.
