WHEN this movie came out, I sat down
and watched it over and over at the theatre, enjoying myself immensely..
thinking at times that I was unusal in my appetite for this classic...however at one showing, while waiting for the movie to start again, a small boy of about 6, sitting alone, turned back to me, dazed by what he had seen, and wanting more, asked breathlessly, "Is it coming on again?" He couldn't wait to
sit through this 3 hr. western again.
That about sums it up. The best of Leone, a tremendous film, a great disk.
If you see Leone before you watch other Spaghetti westerns, you will always be a bit disappointed.
