Robert Redford and Natalie Wood were both at the height of their appeal and both look superb in this movie. I had seen it on its original cinema release and I am afraid that I expected rather more from it when I played the DVD. I found the film, this time around and from an older vantage point, rather more depressing than I had when I viewed it originally. Perhaps I was more aware of the tawdriness than the love story this time around. Nevertheless, they remain two of my favourite actors and I am sure other viewers will still manage to see the charm in their romance and enjoy the movie.

 Wonderful love story
This was and still is a touching love story. Natalie Wood is a wonderful actress. I just love her in this movie. This movie grabs you and holds on to you. I have been a Natalie Wood fan for a few years now, and this movie was the start of it all. This is an awesome movie!

I love this movie it is one of my child hood best movie memories. The plot is awsome and the actors are great. I will put this movie in my classic collection
