Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - The First Year DVD

 One of the best, second to none.
Even in it's infancy, Law & Order SVU proved to be a eye-opening and terrifying look into sexual predators and the detectives that are asigned to catch them before they strike again. The insight into the lives of these detectives is dramatic and a necessity to this show. Even though they only show snippets of Stabler's life at home in the first season, it is more than enough to get a taste of how an SVU detective can be affected by the horrors they witness everyday. The only thing that I would have changed about the first season, would have been getting a look into the trial side of the show alot sooner. Very well written and a must see DvD boxed set for any one that enjoys a great drama that is peppered with personality and wit. ***Warning*** This DvD set can be triggering to those that have been victims of a sexual crime.

Well what can i say... one of the best shows on tv... This is the best series that L&O could throw at us... An absolute must for anyone...

 The "Doink-Doink" Show
God, what can I say about SVU? I was hooked from the moment I first tuned in; the actors are great (especially Richard Belzer and his biting wit); the stories are gripping-- they sometimes bring me to tears or make me angry at the injustice of situations; it is, in my opinion, the best Law & Order incarnation of all.

i simply loved it! svu is one of the best! there arent many series that i want to buy to watch over but the first year is certainly one that i will be enjoying for years to come!!!
