| | Ambrosia How Much I Feel And Other Hits CD Ambrosia Discography of CDs
(3 Customer Reviews)
While nowhere near as thorough as 1997's Anthology or 2004's reissue of that particular collection, this 2003 survey (much like its sibling discs) skips over the early years of Ambrosia and jumps right to the point in their career for which people remember them best: their gentle, pop-friendly ballads. However, unlike the 2004 Anthology this greatest-hits compilation remains predominantly filler-free, making it a sensible choice for those looking to purchase just their hits and nothing more. ~ Rob Theakston
This is part of Warner Brothers Records "Flasback" series.
Recorded between 1975 & 1982.
Ambrosia: David Pack, Chris North, Joe Puerta, Burleigh Drummond.

| | Ambrosia Anthology CD (1997)
How Much I Feel And Other Hits CD music
$6.29 For various legal reasons, no Ambrosia recordings were released on compact disc in America until 1997's Anthology, and while it's an imperfect collection, it does offer a reasonably thorough overview of the group's career. It only briefly touches on their early art rock records, choosing to concentrate instead on their early-'80s soft rock hits like "Biggest Part of Me," "You're the Only Woman," and "How Much I Feel." As a result, dedicated prog rock fans will find this collection inadequate, but for most casual listeners, it will contain everything they need and then some, ...

How Much I Feel And Other Hits music CDs
$5.95 Although they would become better known for smooth AOR ballads like "How Much I Feel," Ambrosia first made their name with this album of progressive rock with a pop music twist. Its songs skillfully blend strong melodic hooks and smooth vocal harmonies with music of an almost symphonic density. Good examples of this crossbreeding are "Drink of Water," which sounds like the Beach Boys tackling a Pink Floyd space rock epic, and "Nice, Nice, Very Nice," which utilizes a combination of stately close-harmony ...
| | Ambrosia Somewhere I've Never Travelled CD (1976) Remastered
How Much I Feel And Other Hits songs
$5.95 After achieving moderate success with their self-titled debut, Ambrosia decided to up the ante by going for a bigger, more symphonic sound on this follow-up outing. To achieve this goal, they enlisted Alan Parsons, who mixed their first album, to produce and Andrew Powell (arranger for the Alan Parsons Project) to do full-blown orchestral arrangements on a number ...

| | Girls! Girls! Girls! 25 All-Time Classics CD (2003)
How Much I Feel And Other Hits album
$13.99 Girls! Girls! Girls! 25 All-Time Classics of the Girl Group Sound is a well-chosen selection; along with the huge girl group hits on offer here (like the Shirelles' "Mama Said," the Jaynetts' "Sally, Go 'Round the Roses," the Chiffons' "He's So Fine," and the Murmaids' "Popsicles and Icicles"), the producers of the disc cast their net over a wide range of singers and groups and made some interesting song choices. By focusing on the girl group sound rather than the usual girl groups themselves, they are able to include middle-of-the-road girl singers like Linda Scott ("I've Told Every Little Star"), Marcie Blaine (the charming "Bobby's Girl"), and Kathy Young (the tremulous "A Thousand Stars"), soul singers like Barbara Lewis ("Hello Stranger"), Barbara George ("I Know [You Don't Love Me No More]"), and Barbara Mason ("Yes I'm Ready"), and some groups whose obscurity is completely unjustified, like Candy & the Kisses, whose soulful dance groover "The 81" should have been a huge smash, the Sapphires, whose "Who Do You Love" is a melancholy gem equal to the best of the Shirelles, and the Jelly Beans, who contribute one of the disc's best tracks ...

How Much I Feel And Other Hits songs
$11.19 Minmae's 2007 effort -- actually recorded in 2006 with an earlier lineup, with bandleader Sean Brooks as always being the linchpin -- differs most radically from those immediately previous to it in the album title, exchanging a long phrase for something more punchy. Otherwise Minmae continue ...
