Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Additional Footage; Bio/Filmographies; Soundtrack English; Soundtrack French; Soundtrack Spanish THE HULK, adapted by Ang Lee (CROUCHING TIGER/HIDDEN DRAGON, THE ICE STORM) from the Marvel comic book series, stars Eric Bana as Bruce Banner, the tormented scientist whose temper periodically transforms him into a raging green monster. Fellow scientist and Hulk-love-interest Betty Ross (Jennifer Connelly), shares a strange connection with Banner--both have abstract childhood nightmares that hint at a shared dark past. The missing pieces of the puzzle are revealed when Banner's unstable, mad-scientist father David (Nick Nolte) appears out of the blue, followed by Betty's father Ross (Sam Elliot), a military cowboy. Banner is ultimately trying to understand what it is that makes his strange and unpredictable metamorphosis occur, while his outbursts distract him, leading him out into the streets of San Francisco, to the Golden Gate Bridge, and on a tour of the American west's national parks where he unleashes his anger in violent tantrums. Posing a threat to the country that is treated like a natural disaster, the hulk attracts the attention of the military. They respond by chasing the hulk with helicopters, machine guys, and even heavy artillery, as he bounds away in mighty leaps, trying to escape. The CGI work used in creating the hulk is funny and convincing, and the gorgeous landscape photography makes his presence all the more amazing. A vibrant color scheme adds to the film's visual thrills, split-screen editing breaks up the slower scenes, and the music by composer Danny Elfman perfectly punctuates the contrast between the soft love story and wild action sequences. While parts of the film recall the introspection of FRANKENSTEIN, the outrageous crowd-pleasing monster-military chases hearken back to KING KONG and the GODZILLA movies. Theatrical release: June 20, 2003

Hulk Movie Review Average Rating: (3 out of 5 stars) Hulk It was a good funny movie Submitted by cyntheamcarbon (Maryand) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Awesome blu-ray display. This blu-ray will knock your socks off! Some people knock this version of the Hulk movie franchise. I thought it was a good movie. Awesome, thunderous action and mayhem. Great ILM special effects. Eric Bana did very well playing the tortured Bruce Banner under Ang Lee's direction. Sam Elliott was awesome as General Ross. This movie made like $300 million world-wide. Hardly sounds like a dud. It is sure better than the let-downs known as Daredevil and Elektra. The new Hulk film is also good. Superhero movies are better than ever (Iron Man, Blade, X-Men, Spider-man, Batman, Hellboy, Hancock). This blu-ray is one to showcase your HDTV when friends and family come over. Beyond Horrendous.. I only saw this movie once and it was in theatres. It was dreadful. If there was one movie that I wanted to walk out of, it was this abomination. I couldn't wait until it was over to get out of there. I will NEVER own this movie on DVD because it isn't worth the plastic they wasted on it. Avoid this movie at all costs. How good can it get given the source material? This was supposed to a Hulk reboot done with a modern twist and not as convoluted as Ang Lee's previous effort. The movie is fast paced and direct but also prefers brevity instead of expanding further on various plot points. I'm glad there aren't too many stomach ache inducing "Hulk luv Betty" moments as the romance is kept to a minimum. Norton works well for the Banner role for the most part but this definitely is not his grade A acting material. Liv Tyler as Betty Ross is not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer in her acting ability either. Tim Roth as the Emil Blonsky works well and throws himself into the role without making a mockery of it. He's one of the better actors in the modern era and his performance here is good possibly the best amongst the entire cast. The Hulk vs. Abomination fights are a little better than you're standard acting sequences but not by much. Also it felt like I was watching cut scenes from a video game every time CGI Hulk took the screen. Submitted by avatar283 (Chicago, IL, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Great Great, but not as good as the one with Edward Norten in it. I geuss it was fine. Submitted by Noah Lowe (Pasco, WA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.

$11.19 Tekken Tag Tournament is a lightning fast port of the arcade game that boasts a 20-fighter plus cast of characters and one of the most famous control methods in gaming -- one button per limb. In addition, it has evolved from a conventional one-to-one competition into a tag battle with two characters for each team. Gamers can even choose to play against three friends using a multi-tap, participate in a traditional two-player tournament, or hone their fighting skills against the computer. Other features for TTT include enhanced visuals over the arcade version and additional game modes.
It should come as no surprise that Tekken Tag Tournament will hit the shelves on PS2's opening day. It first appeared as a tech demo way back when - and damn, did it look good. And while the game may not look as convincingly realistic as it did back then, it still manages to impress. Its release is imminent and that's a good thing for anyone who has been patient enough to wait for the US launch. For the most part, gameplay remains untouched with a few tweaks here and there. Although TTT plays just like its arcade cousin, it looks like a million dollars (almost what I paid for my Metal Gear Solid DVD - sigh). The difference is like night and day - a few thousand extra polys per fighter go a long long way. Jin Kazama is ripped; his highly defined back muscles are visible during battle, not just the intro. And wait 'til you get a load of Nina. It's not just the fighters that see new enhancements, backgrounds receive nearly as much master detail. Yoshi's winter forest set is stunning, with snowflakes falling in a seemingly random manner; the snow-covered ground has a convincing effect - it appears bumpy. Eddie's grassy field is also quite impressive, with cheering onlookers. Visual effect like hit animations light up ...
| | Exodus Another Lesson In Violence CD (1997)
Hulk review
$9.29 Recorded during a one-off 1997 reunion show, this vibrant live album featured the near original lineup of thrash metal pioneers Exodus; the only absent parties are original bassist Geoff Andrews and guitarist Kirk Hammet, who was probably tied up at his day job Metallica. Though it was almost certainly tweaked in the studio at a later date, the performance captured on Another Lesson in Violence sounds amazingly live and raw, containing furious renditions of the band's many early classics, screw-ups and all. The band wisely concentrates on material from their landmark debut Bonded By Blood, the only to feature terminally cheesy vocalist Paul Baloff, who incidentally, appears to have matured little in the intermittent 15 years. And in keeping with the spirit of the festivities, the only three tracks culled from their disappointing sophomore album Pleasures of the Flesh were also co-written by Baloff before his dismissal. As an added bonus, the band even resurrects a never recorded early track co-written by Hammet called "Impaler," and surely only a guest appearance from the man himself could have made this timely release more memorable. Probably of little interest to non-fans, Another Lesson in Violence will certainly leave first-generation thrashers giddy with memories past. ...

| | Emperor Emperial Live Ceremony CD (2000)
Hulk movie DVD
$13.49 This is an Enhanced audio CD which contains regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files.
As black metal's fully enthroned reigning kings, Emperor are truly an interesting, intriguing act, combining the soaring, operatic, orchestral sensibilities of classical music with the pomposity, technical skill, and brutality of various types of heavy metal. What emerges from that Norwegian cocoon is something entirely new, or if not entirely new, then a fully realized version of something that had been attempted by other acts. This live disc, which also incorporates multimedia -- a video for "I Am the Black Wizards" and Emperor screensavers -- was recorded and engineered during European touring for Equilibrium IX. Whether or not the tracks have been overdubbed -- after all, black metal is not an easy medium to work in -- remains fairly dubious. The drums have certainly been triggered, but whether additional vocals or guitars were cut, who knows. One thing is certain, Emperor prove mightily adept at conveying the full range of human emotion in song; from soaring, anthemic leads, to deep, murky Mahler-esque moods; to capturing the frightening solitude of a cold Scandinavian winterscape. Emperial Live Ceremony is not one of the best live albums ever recorded -- or, for that matter, overdubbed and studio crafted, but it does indicate this outfit's superior abilities, songwriting abilities that eclipse most others working in the black metal idiom. ~ Patrick Kennedy
One of the best-known Scandinavian metal bands of the 1990s, Emperor was widely considered to be among death/black metal's top live bands, and the 2000 DVD Emperial Live Ceremony doesn't disappoint. Recorded during a tour stop in ...

| | Twisted Sister - Live At Wacken: The Reunion DVD (2005)
Hulk film
$13.89 Formed in 1976, the New York City-based glam-metal band Twisted Sister ruled the '80s airwaves with their heavy brand of Motorhead-influenced rock, a garishly made-up image that borrowed from Kiss and Alice Cooper, and a healthy dose of humor made evident in their theatrical live shows and imaginative music videos. Though Twisted Sister broke up three years after the double-platinum success of their 1984 album, STAY HUNGRY, the band performed a much-anticipated reunion concert at the 2003 Wacken Open Air metal festival in Germany. This documentary/concert film finds band members Dee Snider, Jay Jay French, Mark "Animal" Mendoza, Eddie Ojeda, and A.J. Pero discussing Twisted Sister's 1980s glory days and the events leading up to their reunion in candid interviews interspersed with behind-the-scenes footage and clips of the entire Wacken performance. The CD side presents audio versions of the Wacken appearance as well as never-before-released vintage performances from the 1980s.
This DVD+ disc features a full video DVD on one side and a complete CD on the other and is packaged in a jewel case. Included are interviews with band members and a never-before-seen performance with behind the scenes footage. Interspersed throughout the DVD are live performances from the band's 2003 Wacken Open Air Festival appearance. The CD side includes past ...

| | Dodgeball/ Stuck On You - 2 Disc Set DVDs (2004)
Hulk film
$31.79 In DODGEBALL: A TRUE UNDERDOG STORY, Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn team up once again (following STARSKY & HUTCH) for another comic romp. While hilariously satirizing modern-day gym culture, the film also celebrates a sport that has previously been relegated to the elementary school playground. Peter La Fleur (Vaughn) owns the decrepit Average Joe's gym, which has been losing its clients ever since the glitzy Globo Gym opened up across the street. White Goodman (Stiller), Globo Gym's main spokesman, is a preposterously vain egomaniac on the cusp of taking over La Fleur's failing business. La Fleur learns from a beautiful attorney (Christine Taylor) that if he doesn't come up with $50,000 in 30 days, his career running a gym will be over. Potential salvation arrives in the form of a Las Vegas dodgeball tournament, but conquering a sport one hasn't played in several decades isn't such an easy feat. Fortunately for Peter, he finds a coach for his team: the hardheaded, ex-superstar Patches O'Houlihan (Rip Torn). As Peter and his ragtag team make their way to the championship in Las Vegas, they must contend with White, who has assembled a team of his very own.
STUCK ON YOU: A couple of conjoined twins (Greg Kinnear and Matt Damon) are the focus of this Farrelly brothers romp, and this premise provides for a relentless string of clever, absurd, and always-fresh jokes. Bob (Damon) and Walt (Kinnear) are living happy lives, perfectly content to be joined by a patch of skin that extends from armpit to hip and allows them to share a liver. Though they must do everything in tandem, they are best friends and treat each other as individuals with separate lives. Living on Martha's Vineyard, Bob (Damon) owns a popular local diner where he and Walt work as incredibly fast-moving short-order cooks with all four hands in perfect sync flipping burgers and slicing vegetables--this is one of the best gags in the film. However, as the brothers are shown playing hockey, fighting kung-fu style, cruising for babes in a bar, and taking on basically any other feat imaginable, the laughs only get better. Trouble comes when suave, confident Walt decides to pursue a Hollywood acting career, and Bob's stage fright, panic attacks, and shyness present a personality clash. Nonetheless, they get to meet Meryl Streep, they land a starring role in a television show with Cher, and they find some nice girlfriends. The Farellys keep their signature gross-out ...
| | Bonanza - The Gunmen DVD (2009)
Hulk review
$5.95 BONANZA is a sprawling western television series about wealthy rancher Ben Cartwright and his three sons---Adam (Pernell Roberts), a two-fisted gunfighter with a penchant for design and engineering; Hoss (Dan Blocker), a huge and slightly dimwitted but good-hearted strongman in a big white ten-gallon hat; and Little Joe (Michael Landon, later of LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE), a young hothead always getting into trouble over women or disputes of any imaginable description with almost anybody. Like all 1950s TV western series leads, the Cartwrights were superb fistfighters, able to knock almost anyone unconscious with a single blow from either fist. Ben had the enviable advantage of having apparently been everywhere and done everything prior to settling down on his thousand-acre empire ("the Ponderosa") outside Virginia City, Nevada, so he could always speak from an intimidating reservoir of experience. ...
