I have long soughtmusic by the Griffin Brothers and Margie Day. This music really bring back memories of my high school days when we dancedincessantly to this music.Thanks to CDUniverse I can now purchase more music thathas remained in the archives. I would recommend it for all music lovers looking forblues with a beat.

 Ability to Obtaina colletor's item
I would considerthis CD a colletor's item because I was in high school when the songscame out. I danceda lot listening to Margie Day and the Griffin Brothers. I have sharedthe listening with former classmates and they think that it is a jewel.

 Beautiful nostalgia listening experience
This cd was a trip back to yesterday, and the journey was good. An excellent cd, with MARGIE DAY being superb!!

 Scratches included from the sources.
I just finished playing a few of the songs on this CD and I’m in a state of bewilderment. When this format first began there was at least one company that was producing a bad product, in that the records that were being used to product the CD were scratchy and the method to eliminate that was not good. Here it is 20 years later, with so many improvements that some of the older music being produced is breathtaking in scope, sounding umpteen times better than when it was first produced 50 or more years earlier, and suddenly this CD comes out and I don’t know what to think. Not only are the scratches heard, they are as noticeable as if I was playing a record myself. It would appear that none of the CEDAR or other editing methods was used. The scratches are so evident, I’m almost believing that the Acrobat people who produced this, actually wanted to give this a feel of playing one’s record player as opposed to a pristine CD. What other explanation can there be? The songs are wonderful, but I would have much rather that they didn’t have the clicks and pops that I thought I left behind.
