Donovan Storyteller Super-Audio CD

 Great reminiscing. Excellent music
What a great collection of 60's folk tunes that helped form our sixties atmosphere of rethinking war, love and relationships. It's a stereo only CD but in high resolution. I'd forgotten how Dylan-like Donovan was - especially the first songs. I prefer to listen to the DVD-A release "Fairytales" but this one, with his later hits like Sunshine Superman and Mellow Yellow, is excellent too.

 Missing a few
No question that this is a true remastering marvel. But, to me and other people I've spoken with, where in the Hell, or how in the Hell can you leave off this compilation "Season of The Witch" and "Wear Your Love Like Heaven"? I mean really. Two big hits; gone! Most of Donovan's catalog isn't that great, listening to most of his stuff will cause one to get sick! But this piece of work is probably his best sounding. I have a super-audio CD player and it's worth it.

 excellent sound
the sound of this sacd hybrid is excellent. steve hoffman at audio fidelity did a remarkable job in remastering it. i have not listen to its high-resolution side yet, however, if the cd side is any indication, it is going to be great sound. donovan and his music is like england version of bob dylan.

No words on this one...you all know who he is and what he apported in musical history...with Dylan,Barrett,Drake etc etc add this little big man to greatest songwriters in world history.All are masterpieces on this little piece of cd.

 You must be a real loser to buy a hits album
by this great artist. Most of his original albums are all masterpieces...therefore please do not complain on account of some trivial radio hit having been left out of this meaningless compilation.
