||A stinging tale|
Black Scorpion film One of the better '50s creature features, commendable for its effectively menacing monster scorpions. Standout scenes include train-grabbing, helicopter wrestling and somer nasty stuff underground; there's also a fair clutch of extra features.

Black Scorpion review I saw this when I was fourteen. In the UK it had an X certificate (over sixteens only) and I was really excited. At the time I thought it was very well done. What is annoying is the fact it isn't available anywhere on region 2 dvd. I wondeer why not?

Black Scorpion DVD for sale If you're a fan of 1950's Sci-fi, this is one movie you need in your collection. It's got everything you'd expect in a movie from this era. I collect 1950's Science Fiction, and this is one of the first movies I purchased when in came out on DVD. Enjoy!!

Black Scorpion video While not one of the classics of this period/genre, a very good movie with credible special effects supplied by Willis O'Brien (Ray Harryhausen's mentor). Black Scorpion film For some reason, I always find movies of this genre shot in Mexico to be a little more creepy than those with a US setting (don't know why). Of course, Marary Corday is romantically attracted to the gringo geologist (Richard Denning)rather than his Mexican counterpart. Whatever.
