Bohm's Vienna
Karl Bohm has his admirers, and they will likely appreciate this disc of J. Strauss selections. I found it good, as I do most of Bohm's recordings, but not great. His traditional Central European approach is appropriate but a little tired these days. But who could have a better orchestra for this music than the VPO? This disc is worth the asking price and represents solid performances of classic pieces.
