Pronounced "Dis-Gay-Uh", Hour of Darkness is an uncanny amalgam of both traditional and unconventional RPG staples. Telling the tale of the self-absorbed Prince Laharl, Disgaea moves away from the typical "heroes of light" setting, and replaces it with a demon-infested netherworld. Awoken after a two-year slumber, Laharl is stunned to learn of his father King Krichevskoy's death and the massive civil war for the throne that has followed. The rightful heir and all-around egocentric bastard that he is, Laharl isn't about to lose his birthright without a fight, and it's from there the story really takes off. Borrowing the same isometric approach that the Ogre Battle and Final Fantasy Tactics games have enjoyed over the years, Disgaea isn't aimed at the novice RPG crowd. As a result, the multitude of menus, items types, weapon categories, and other such factors may seem a bit intimidating to the laymen. I was long time ago looking for one game like the great Final Fantasy Tactics of PSone,After a numerous list of games of this genere, from diferent companies, that includes the FFT for GBA ,which lack of history and you are fighting for missions, for get items or mone,. I finally found a true continue of the first FFT, and I will enjoy this one for a long, long time.

 Disgea hours upon hours upon hours.
The great thing about this games is that you can spend 40 hours and finish it or 300+ and come no-where close. With the ability to 'enter' your weapons to upgrade them the games has limitless possibility. A true master piece when it comes to Tactical RPG's

its the best game ever! ive put 500 hours just on one game. But its pronounced dis-guy-uh they say it in the game.

I've had this game for about three months and haven't stopped playing (I haven't finished it yet!) The item world is the most interesting part of the game. Each weapon has 100 floors, every floor you pass allows you to upgrade your weapon.
Unlike a lot of RPGs, this game is a constant challenge, you could probably pass the game quite quickly, but there is some much to do that it would be a waste!

What can I say but that i love this game & i love its charecters.I mean that,espesialy prince Laharl because he is so cute.I also like its multiple endings and that this game never ends,allways somthing comes up & Laharl must fight it.

Disgaea: Hour Of Darkness Hints Once you open up the area "Cave of Ordeals". Go through it until you reach the 3rd area. Here you will find 3x3 rows of enemies and the field has a "Exp 50%" Geo panel on it. If you can use a 3x3 attack to kill all the enemies in this stage in one swoop, your character will level up insane amounts. You can take a level 1 character to level 200 if they have a high enough attack. Also be warned that the enemies in this stage have high defense, either bring out other members to weaken the monsters up or you can have one warrior bravehearted by a team of mages.
