Three clueless bachelors buy a mansion at the beach to pick up California girls and hire surfers to teach them how to be cool. Stars Bronson Pinchot, Tracy Bingham. This outrageous comedy is set in Southern California, where three bumbling rich guys purchase a mansion to score chicks. But little do they realize that their complete ignorance with regard to surfing and beach culture renders them invisible to the babes on the beach. They must finally rely on two surfers to teach them the tricks of the trade, and hopefully turn them into totally tubular surf studs.
This is the only Alex DeBoe video. Stars also making their debut in this video: William Bumiller. $10.29 The story of three roommates at a private school for girls, LOST AND DELIRIOUS centers on Mary (Mischa Barton), who is shy and lonely, having spun on a downward spiral ever since the death of her mother three years before. But when she arrives at prep school and meets her new roommates, Pauline (Piper Perabo) and Tory (Jessica Pare)--fun, happy girls--Mary begins to open up. But just as Mary begins to come out of her shell, she discovers that her roommates are lovers, and, not knowing how to talk about it, she bites her tongue and is left feeling more isolated and alone than ever before. To complicate matters, Pauline and Tory break up. Tory insists that she likes boys. And Pauline becomes an emotional wreck--acting out and changing into a dangerously fragile time bomb. With its complicated plot, delicate issues, and convincing adolescent characters, LOST AND DELIRIOUS is a powerful and disturbing look at first love. The first English-language film from director Lea Pool, the film is based on the novel THE WIVES OF BATH by Susan Swan.

$10.29 From British director Nigel Cole, whose sweet-hearted comedies CALENDAR GIRLS and SAVING GRACE shared a similar combination of humor and true emotion, A LOT LIKE LOVE is the story of two friends who seem destined to love each other--if they can ever realize that themselves. Meeting on a flight from Los Angeles to New York, naive Oliver (Ashton Kutcher) and tough Emily (Amanda Peet) have sex in an airplane lavatory before learning each other's names. Despite this intimate introduction, Emily is uninterested in getting to know the guy she just picked up, telling Oliver frankly that he's not her type. The two part ways, but end up running into each other hours later in what proves to be just the first of many semi-coincidental romantic encounters. After spending a fun day together in the city, Oliver gives Emily his home number and tells her to call him in 6 years, once he's gotten his life and career figured out. When an unforeseen breakup leaves Emily dateless for New Year's Eve a few years later, she calls Oliver and they meet again. In the years that have passed since their first meeting, Emily has taken up acting, Oliver has started an online diaper-selling business, and both have gotten more flattering haircuts. But Emily is disappointed to learn that Oliver is moving to San Francisco for business the next day. Over the course of a few years, Emily and Oliver grow to depend on each other in times of crisis, and develop a solid friendship. ...
