Long Way To Mexico music CDs
$13.89 This is my first rather eclectic CD. Originaly recorded and released on Toshiba EMI in Japan. The guest include some close rather famous friends and a who's who of session musicians.More about me.. Bruce Gaitsch was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. His early inspiration to write and perform came from many sources. His father was a pedal steel player on the WLS Barndance for years and owned a music store frequented by many up and coming stars of the midwest scene. (Ted Nugent, The Shadows of Knight, The Buckinghams and Chicago) Bruce's exposure to all this led him to follow the same road. Bruce paid his dues in grade school, high school and college by playing every possible kind of gig in Chicago. He joined Jim Petenck's (Ides of March, Survivor) band in 1975 and together they recorded an album for Epic Records. Touring with Boston and Heart as an opening act further fueled his passion. He went on to record more than 3000 sessions in Chicago up until he moved to Los Angeles in 1984. Arriving in LA, he played David Hawk Wolinski ("Ain't Nobody") a few songs. Hawk was producing Evelyn Champagne King at the time and used two of the songs on her records with Bruce playing the guitars. Bruce's first cover went to #13 on the soul charts, "Just for the Night." Another friend from Chicago, Richard ...

$21.59 This CD contains mainly Contemporary and Traditional Country music, as well one Patriotic song.Nancy wrote the "Man in Montana," which is a beautiful song she wrote to honor her Dad.Nancy has loved singing since the age of two. She formed her own All Girl Band when she was in High School, they played in her home town as well as up to 150 miles away. During the summer of her Junioryear in school she was called to fill in for the drummer and to sing with seven different bands that cameto town. During her Senior year in High School she toured Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota,Nebraska, and Kansas with the "Steve Martin Show," a country band. Determined to graduate with her classmates, Nancy took four subjects in five weeks by correspondence (tutored by her Mother who traveled with the band for those five weeks). She returned to her home town in Montana to graduate with her class. The next night after graduation, she was playing and singing again with the band in Minot, North Dakota. Nancy felt she needed to continue with her education, and attended Belmont College in Nashville, Tennessee for 1 1/2 years, taking Music Business as a Major, and Physchology for a Minor. Nancy has kept busy over the years singing at Jamboree in the Hills in Wheeling, W.V; Fan Fair inNashville, TN; the Grand Old Opry in Canada, London Gardens in London, Ontario, and at theKitchener Auditorium in Kitchener, Ontario; the Red Sovine Show at London Gardens; County Fairs in Montana; National Conventions; U.S.O.
