Creepshow Soundtrack CD

 A Soundtrack Most Sinister is Finally Reserrected!!!!!!!!!!
Any True Ghoul who enjoyed the Romero/King team up titled Creepshow will fondly remember the films haunting synth score. Unfortunatly, this incredible collection of music has been out of print since the 80's. Well all you horror geeks can rejoice because it's back- creepier than the rotten corpse of Nathan Grantham and cleaner than Mr. Pratt's germ proof apartment! Creepshow is one of the very few soundtracks that stands the test of time. Even though it was produced in the early 80's it isn't corney. The score is a beautiful melding of 50's style terror and synthesized weird string arrangments. You get all the classic notable pieces from the film (including creature growls on "the Crate" track)plus some isolated sound effects from the "Lonesome Death of Jordy Verill". This cd also includes a bunch of bonus tracks from the composer. While not nearly as awesome as the Creepshow score, they are still interesting and free so who's complaining? Also worth a mention are the liner notes- a nice thick addition to an already great package filled with photos and quite a few engaging interviews about the music. Creepshow fans- this is THE gift we have been waiting for: A completely crisp remastered edition of one of Horrordoms best and most elusive soundtracks! I must thank the record label and all the people involved in giving this underappriciated gem a new life on CD! There is no reason not to own this.
