Couldn't Have Said It Better album for sale Product Description
Couldn't Have Said It Better album for sale by Meat Loaf was released Sep 23, 2003 on the Sanctuary label. Even as he edges gingerly into his late 50s, Meat Loaf seems doggedly determined not to go gently into that good night of tastefully tamed-down middle-aged rockers. He's always been about the larger-than-life musical gesture, and COULDN'T HAVE SAID IT BETTER finds the former Marvin Aday investing his arena-size power ballads with even more drama than in his BAT OUT OF HELL salad days. Couldn't Have Said It Better CD music contains a single disc with 11 songs. ...See Full Description

| Great album The title track is my favorite followed by Forever Young. Meat and Patti sound great. I wish Patti sang more duets on this album. By Judy (Rochester) |
| Absolutely Brilliant --- Meat Loaf At His Very Best I read in an interview that Meat Loaf originally thought this was going to be his last CD. Well, if that was true, he clearly saved the best for last !! To me every song on the CD is perfect in it's own special way ... from the amazing duet Couldn't Have Said It Better (which clearly showcases the strong talents of Patti Russo as well as Meat), to the fun hard rocking tracks that you can't help singing along to : Do It, Testify, Tear Me Down & Love You Out Loud, to the slower, superb ballads Why Isn't That Enough and Forever Young. | He's done it again ... I were very lucky to see Meat loaf preform some of these songs live in a very emotional and the best concert 'ever' in Christchurch New Zealand , with that all I can say is the boy has done it again with a nother colection of songs that you can feel the deep passion pooring out with every word sung. By jusme (Whitecliffs New Zealand) This review is for a different format. |

Boston Boston CD (1976) Top Seller
Couldn't Have Said It Better songs Recorded on a simple 12-track recorder as a demo, it was so good that the record company released it. Tom Scholz masterminded the project in his spare time; little did he know that this record came to define AOR, and would become a hi-fi store standard demo disc. Since that time, this record-breaking debut has sold 15 million copies in its homeland. Sholtz put so much effort into making it, he has managed only three further records in 22 years. "More Than A Feeling" still chills in a corny sort of way and the harmonies are pretty impressive.
Recorded at Foxglove Studios, Watertown, Massachusetts; Capitol Studios, Hollywood, California; The Record Plant, Los Angeles, California between 1975 and 1976.

Warren Zevon Wind CD (2003) Top Seller
Couldn't Have Said It Better CD music THE WIND won the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album. "Keep Me in Your Heart" was nominated for Song Of The Year and for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. "Disorder in the House" won for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal and was also nominated for Best Rock Song.
With the specter of a terminal lung cancer diagnosis hanging over his head, Warren Zevon responded by rallying to make THE WIND, an album that found him working with longtime collaborator and friend Jorge Calderon, shortly after getting the news. The result is a tight group of 11 songs wrapped up in a year, despite a diagnosis that only gave Zevon three months to live. Along the way, plenty of famous names--both friends and fans--pitched in, including Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Emmylou Harris, Jackson Browne, Dwight Yoakam and Don Henley. Allusions to his situation are naturally sprinkled throughout, whether it's partying in the face of doom ("The Rest of the Night"), using a self-penned blues song to look back with no regrets ("Rub Me Raw"), or pledging his eternal love ("El Amor De Mi Vida"). Even Zevon's cover of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," avoids the pitfall of sentimentality as he can be heard bellowing "open up, open up" in the background of the song's chorus sung by Tommy Shaw, John Waite, and Billy Bob Thornton. "Keep Me in Your Heart" finds Zevon subtly asking just that, in a dignified manner guaranteed to mist up the eyes of even the most jaded person.

Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band / Bob Seger Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 CD (2003)
Couldn't Have Said It Better buy CD music Billy Payne (piano); Craig Frost (organ); David Hood, Chris Campbell (bass); David Teegarden, Roger Hawkins (drums, percussion); Russ Kunkel (drums); Bobbye Hall (percussion); Laura Creamer, Joan Sliwin (background vocals).
Upon the release of GREATEST HITS VOL. 2, Michigan's answer to Bruce Springsteen had receded into the Boss' considerably large shadow, thanks to a self-imposed hiatus that found him recording only two studio albums in the 1990s. Despite the seemingly short attention span of the pop music world, this particular collection presents a fine argument that may reinforce Bob Seger's stature in the eyes of non-die-hard fans that only know him from regular rotation on classic rock radio.
This compilation dips into Seger's periodic soundtrack contributions ranging from TEACHERS' piano-driven "Understanding" and the soaring MOR Martina McBride duet "Chances Are" from HOPE FLOATS to "Shakedown," the rocker's only chart-topper from BEVERLY HILLS COP II. The collection also scratches the surface of Seger's influences, particularly when he goes back to 1981 and 1974, with covers of Rodney Crowell's countrified lament "Shame on the Moon" and Tom Waits' barfly anthem "New Coat of Paint," respectively. This Detroit native also tips a hat to his harder-rocking side by tossing classics like the salacious "The Fire Down Below," the howling "Her Strut," and "Tomorrow," a song written for this album that boasts a stomping tempo and Joan Osborne-like harmonies.
Additional Tracks
Personnel: Bob Seger (vocals, acoustic & electric guitars, harmonica); Martina McBride, Glenn Frey (vocals); Pete Carr (acoustic & electric guitars); Drew Abbott (guitar); Harvey Thompson (tenor saxophone); Ron Eades (baritone saxophone); Harrison Galloway (trumpet); Charles Rose (trombone); Barry Beckett (piano, electric piano, organ, synthesizer); Matt Rollings,
Producers include: Bob Seger, Bill Szymczyk, Punch, Jimmy Iovine, Harold Faltermeyer.
This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files.

Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose CD (2006)
Couldn't Have Said It Better album for sale Nearly three decades after 1977's BAT OUT OF HELL, and 13 years after its sequel, BACK INTO HELL, Meat Loaf unleashed BAT OUT OF HELL III: THE MONSTER IS LOOSE. While the album was reportedly bogged down in legal disputes between the drama-loving rock performer (aka Marvin "Michael" Aday) and songwriter Jim Steinman, the longtime collaborators apparently patched things up in time for its release on Halloween of 2006. Also assisting Meat Loaf on this typically bold and wonderfully bombastic outing are Todd Rundgren (on vocal arrangements only) and producer Desmond Child, along with a slew of guests including Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 (the uncharacteristically heavy title track) and virtuoso hard-rock six-stringer Steve Vai (the fierce "In the Land of the Pig, the Butcher Is King"). This being a BAT OUT OF HELL installment, of course, there's room for a heart-wrenching duet (with newcomer Marion Raven) on "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" (famously recorded by Celine Dion first) and grandiose pop-tinged rock on "Bad for Good," which benefits from the unmistakable guitar riffs of Queen's Brian May. If it seems like a lot stuffed into one album, it is, and that's exactly what makes THE MONSTER IS LOOSE a top-notch Meat Loaf record.
Personnel: Meat Loaf (vocals); Marion Raven (vocals); Corky James, Eric Bazilian, Steve Vai, Brian May, John 5 (guitar); Matt Rollings (piano); Mark Alexander (organ); Kasim Sulton (bass guitar); Victor Indrizzo (drums); Kenny Aronoff (percussion); Desmond Child, Todd Rundgren (background vocals).

BAT OUT OF HELL II: PICTURE SHOW contains three videos, three live performances, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage.
What a great idea: put Eddie and Jim Steinman back together again. Write some songs that sound like the 25-million-selling Bat Out Of Hell and call it . . . For once, whoever conceived this marketing plan was absolutely spot on. The time was right and the songs, while not up to the famous parent, were good. The lead single, "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)," featured an expensive video using a Beauty And The Beast theme. It helped to sell the album, but no other track on the album had quite the same power. They all sounded like Steinman/Meat Loaf songs.

Hell in a Handbasket CD (2011)
Couldn't Have Said It Better buy CD music Released in 2011, Meat Loaf's 12th studio album, Hell in a Handbasket, somewhat reduces the bombast of his previous efforts. The record, which the singer regards as his most personal album to date, was produced by guitarist Paul Crook (with some input by Rob Cavallo), and apart from the first single "All of Me" and the heavy "40 Days," the songs feature an earthier rock sound (just like its predecessor, Hang Cool Teddy Bear, the album does not include any songs by Meat Loaf's former collaborator Jim Steinman). Rapper Chuck D guests on a cover of Tom Cochrane's "Mad Mad World," while Patti Russo appears on "Our Love and Our Souls" and a cover of the Mamas & the Papas' "California Dreamin'." "Stand in the Storm" features guest appearances by rapper Lil Jon, Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath, country singer John Rich (on the Australian and German versions of the album), and country singer Trace Adkins (on the North American and European versions). ~ Christian Genzel
