The musical context for all this uproar is informed more heavily by Dylan's earliest Americana roots than anything other than his albums of traditional folk songs. Truly brilliant Dylan: funny, catchy, musically interesting with a blend of almost anything (violin to solo acoustic) If you are fond of Dylan this is a keeper and it would make the best introduction album for the novice this side of Blood on the Tracks...
