great memories of the show I was at this show, but in the nose bleed section, so it was great to see it better. I love DM and watching it makes me remember a much more care free time in my life. By Lori (Tigard OR USA)
I was there!!! I love the music, but I didn't like the editing. The Director didn't come close to catching the real thing. I was at the Rose Bowl for this concert and it was so awesome. By tjonesmarketing (Phoenix, AZ)
No fashion... Just MODE ! As a die-hard D.M. fan since the start (actually JOY DIVISION and early Human League as well as 1979 Gary Numan brought me directly at the right place and time to love D.M. as they go)this epic show embodies all the novelty and unique sounds of Depeche Mode, how they master a very special skill that merge fantastic and futuristic soundscapes with beautifuly touching lyrics, shaped in tremendous moods. By draveane (Franière, NA, Belgium, Western Europe)
The Best! This is DM at their best when they conquered all the alternative youth of America. The concert is so full of energy & has all the DM staples like "Black Celebration", "Just can't get enough", "Everything Counts", etc. By Patty (Chicago)

Suede Suede - Live at Sculler's Jazz Club DVD (2004)
Depeche Mode 101 film The American jazz-vocal group Suede (not to be confused with the Britpop band of the same name) are captured live in this concert performance recorded at Boston's Scullers jazz club on May 12, 2004.
Imagine a cross between Ella Fitzgerald and Bette Midler, throw in a little Rosie Clooney, add a dash of Louis Armstrong, and you might get some idea of Suede's unique mix of musical abilities and talents. Think sophisticated pop/jazz, think naughty blues with a sizzling trumpet, think love songs that will make you swoon, think funny, think Wow, what a voice!
This consummate entertainer sings original material and pop, blues and jazz standards like nobody you've ever heard, while accompanying herself on the piano, trumpet and guitar. She also plays with her fabulous band: NY veteran jazz players David Pearl on piano, Max Murray or Sue Williams on bass and Steve Holloway on drums.
Suede has toured extensively in the US, Europe and as far away as New Zealand and Australia always to full houses and rave reviews.
The "Diva la Difference" has appeared on ABC's 20/20, WAMU Radio, NPR, MTV, and in the film "A Simple Matter of Justice". Her recording of "Remember Who You Are" was recently featured on the soap opera, The Young and the Restless and is featured on the newly released HRC compilation disc, Being Out Rocks with other such notable artists as Sarah McLachlan, Rufus Wainright, k.d.Lang, Harvey Fierstein, Janis Ian, Cyndi Lauper, The B52's and others. Her latest release, On the Day We Met, won two OUTMusic awards in 2001, one for best new release by a female artist and one for best new song (Emily Remembers). She also holds the distinction of being the first and only female member of the world renowned a cappella group The Flirtations, seen in Jonathan Demme's film Philadelphia.
With a strong belief in the responsibility that comes with any degree of celebrity status, she has helped raised tens of thousands of dollars for various causes she supports, including Breast Cancer awareness and research, AIDS funding, Alzheimer's Care and research, Animal rights and many others.
And, she is FUN! From unbelievable a cappella to "bring down the house" belting blues, Suede delivers it all with her own unique blend of warmth, wit and musical artistry.

Jane County / Electric Chairs Jayne County & The Electric Chairs - Man Enough to be a Woman DVD (2005)
Depeche Mode 101 DVD for sale Before changing his name to Jayne, Wayne County was a fixture among the punk clubs of the early 1970s. With a background in the theatre, and as a DJ at the famous Max's Kansas City, Wayne clearly had the makings of a star. He first performed in drag at Max's in 1972, but found little interest among record label executives, who were not interested in his breed of glam-rock and punk-inspired performance style. Pairing self-proclaimed trashiness with kitsch appeal, Wayne found himself right at home in London, where he and his band The Electric Chairs were picked up by the label Safari. With London's punk scene starting to emerge, Wayne released a couple albums before retiring to Berlin. It was upon returning to the States in 1980 that Wayne changed his name to Jayne, thus becoming everyone's favorite rock & roll transsexual. Here, Jayne and The Electric Chairs perform at Blackpool's Holidays in the Sun Festival, in 1996.
Man Enough To Be A Woman - Jayne County Live features a storming full show from Jayne and The Electric Chairs at Blackpool's 'Holiday In The Sun' festival in 1996. Cherry Red DVD/NTSC/Code 0. 2005.

Back Against the Wall DVD (2002)
Depeche Mode 101 movie June (Debbie Mulcahy) and Levey (Martin Shannon) are passionless lovers of such indifference that they share what hardly constitutes a relationship of any kind. Their cramped apartment closes in tighter upon them due to the stacks of books that Levey, an abnormally fast reader, has devoured. Levey is disturbed by June's job at the local watering hole, The Funhouse, where she dances in lingerie fashion shows. His paranoia brims when Ed (Ernie E. Frantz), an obese man with no neck who is ridiculed at work with the nickname "Woman Hands," sees June dancing one night. Fast forward to a short time later and much has changed. June is involved with underground figures starring as a cowgirl in a porno. Ed's health is in decline and his apartment is filled with women and drugs. Levey is mysteriously absent.
A story is told within BACK AGAINST THE WALL of a man in prison who creates his own language. This could be a metaphor for the film's underground creator, James Fotopoulos (MIGRATING FORMS). The prolific Fotopoulos has crafted a haunting black and white nightmare shot in only eight days. The loose narrative structure stresses character paranoia over plot with most of the action taking place off-screen.
Part gangster film, part exploitation thriller, and all action. From somewhere under America comes BACK AGAINST THE WALL, a daring three-part feature from James Fotopoulos. Levey, a middle-aged failure, lives with his girlfriend, a young model named June. June leaves him for another man. Meanwhile, Levey's friend Ed becomes ill and hires women to tend to his needs. Set in the vague underground of Midwestern "lingerie modeling," BACK AGAINST THE WALL features a grotesque man with no neck named Ernie E. Frantz, numerous plot twists, and sinister sound design.
