Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Soundtrack English; English Subtitles Two mischievous and curious teenage girls enter a convent school and wreak havoc with the academy's carefully organized routine. They explore the nuns' quarters on the sly, fill the sugar bowl with soap and just keep on coming up with "scathingly brilliant ideas" that cause endless amounts of comic confusion. It isn't too long before the Mother Superior is convinced that these imps could try the patience of a saint. Yet somehow, the appealing duo can't help winning everyone's hearts.
Eventually, however, the time comes to make a very serious decision... "The Trouble with Angels" was director-actress-screenwriter Ida Lupino's last film.

$10.29 Three screen goddesses--Betty Grable, Lauren Bacall, and Marilyn Monroe--star as golddigging models blessed with fabulous looks but limited brain power. The three blondes pool their resources and conspire to nab millionaire husbands, renting an expensive penthouse to lure in their likely prey. But with Rory Calhoun, Cameron Mitchell, David Wayne, Fred Clark, Alex D'Arcy, and William Powell playing the desired millionaires, the gals are pushed to the end of their wits as they try to decide whom to wed.
Basing his work on two successful stage plays, famed producer and screenwriter Nunnally Johnson's dialogue is fabulous, and scenic views of Manhatten exploit the CinemaScope widescreen aesthetic. Director Jean Negulesco keeps the antics of the remarkable ensemble cast hyped to an outrageous level, which combines perfectly with both the script and the music to create ...

| | Dude, Where's The Party? DVD (2003) Full Frame; Subtitled
Trouble With Angels film
$6.99 Originally released as WHERE'S THE PARTY, YAAR? this comedy spoofs every aspect of the Indian American experience, while maintaining the complexity of its characters, and avoiding stereotypes. Hari Patel has been assured that he will find love in America, so he comes to Houston to study engineering. He lives with his aunt and uncle there, whose son, Mo, is a college student fully assimilated into his American environment. A cool guy on the desi scene, Mo is ordered by his parents to show the ropes to the FOB ("fresh off the boat") newcomer, and he reluctantly does so. Unfortunately, the hipsters aren't so welcoming to Hari, with his odd dance moves and oily hair, and as Hari struggles to adapt to his new home, lessons are learned all around. From Bollywood tunes in the rain, to tricked-out Indian bachelor pads, no area of Indian culture is left out. Through the energy of the cast and the excellent soundtrack--which features the likes of Panjabi MC, Cornershop, and DJ Cheb i Shabbah--this fast-paced, hip satire with a heart is sure to delight.
It's hard to fit in when you're the new guy in town, but when you're fresh off the boat, forget about it. Hari Patel is an Indian immigrant who has come to America ...
