For his side project Murderdolls, Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison threw a number of curves at Slipknot fans. For one thing, he emerged from behind the drumkit to play guitar, along with Tripp Eisen of Static-X fame. For another, the dark, grinding industrial metal of Slipknot is forsaken in favor a more light-hearted (at least relatively) and punk-inspired approach. While there are plenty of grisly scenarios presented in the lyrics here, they're generally of the trashy, b-movie variety previously employed by such seminal horror-punk outfits as the Misfits and the Cramps. The sheer savagery in the attack of the vocals, guitars, and drums should insure that Slipknot admirers don't feel too disenfranchised, but the lean, speedy, heavily ironic songs that populate the album are definitely a stylistic detour for Jordison.

I had borrowed the regular version from a friend, and i thought it was awesome, but then i bought the Extended version and the extra tracks make the whole thing sooo much better. I recomend getting the Special Editions to ANY cd you buy!

If you like metal, you need to get this CD. It's fast, it's heavy, and the songs are all about zombies, killing people, and horror movies. Plus, Joey Jordison plays the drums in this band, and Wednesday 13 has the perfect voice for songs like these. Buy this CD. You won't regret it!!!

Awesum Cd
The Murderdolls are an excellent mix of craziness, and it comes out in their music. If you like Slipknot or Mudvayne you are sure to love this album!!

I really love this cd. There are some really good numbers on it. I aldso like the bonus tracks. My favorite numbers are: White Wedding, Dead in Hollywood, Kill miss america, she was a teenage zombie and 197666. but the whole cd is very good. Great vocals and great sound and very original. YEAHHH!!! MURDERDOLLS RULEZ!!!

murderdolls is a fun/gothic band....their music sounds like the era of the 80s heavy metal scene. It carries all the elements to put the record on top of the music scene....great tunes, awesome singer, and their image puts their direction even farther then proven. the record is a great buy....it carries 6 bonus songs and a dvd w/all their music videos.
MURDERDOLLS:did a show at my hometown at the bash on ash....put a great show and made alot of fans/friends. "GO SEE THEM LIVE" if you get a chance....their geat guys.
