Great season The box contains all episodes from season 6. The must have for Willow and Spike fans ! Some great featurettes too, like the making-of of the musical. Submitted by Louise (France) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
Sometimes dark is better! Unlike the previous five seasons, this one take us on a grown-up trip through the Buffy-verse. And it was about time. For those that were so-so about the "predictability" of the show and fled to Angel to get a little harder-edge feel, this season lets you know that the characters are maturing and dealing with real-life issues in a fantasy environment (as if that were possible). The commentaries on all the selected episodes were a little drawn out, but overall informative on the making and technical aspects of the series. And there was more than enough backgroung on the musical episode than one could ever stand. By far the best season put to disk yet - can't wait for the final season to be released! The best season in Whedon history! I loved it! It was so funny and spikeritic. It's story had emotional touchs to it. And it had an feeling that told you how life in this world could be. The musical epi. was sweet! And it showed a whole lot of action.
And the behind the scenes.
My favorite scene was when Buffy was singing and fighting the demon's lackeys.
And the television with a bite really rocked. Buy it now! And enjoy a whole lot of Buffy! Submitted by Katrina (U.S.A California) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo

$10.29 Joaquin Phoenix is great in this saga of Baltimore firefighter Jack Morrison, whose life starts flashing before his eyes when he becomes trapped in a blazing high rise. Flashbacks chronicle his memories of being a rookie at his Baltimore fire company. He remembers fighting his first fire, bonding with fellow firefighters, falling in love with a beautiful local girl (Jacinda Barrett), getting married, and having children. He also looks back on forming a close relationship with the fire chief (John Travolta) and learning to face the danger and heroics of life on the job. This film manages to wring plenty of well-earned tears from its subject matter--as well as spine-tingling thrills--which are the result of solid performances, characterization, and good naturalistic dialogue from screenwriter Lewis Colick. Barrett is great as Jack's worried ...
