One of the Ford's best westerns. In fact, one of the great western in Hollywood's history.

||Better than Thought|
My Darling Clementine film This movie was pretty good. Although, there wasn't much blood or anything I found this movie quite enjoyable. The movie was in black and white-very old- but it showed a good comparison of what it was like back then. It showed that there was gunfights but not too many of them. For the most part it was safe in that generation, if you ask me. My Darling Clementine was great for a black and white movie.

||Excellent photography, when men were men!|
My Darling Clementine review .1946, John Ford directed, when men were men starring Henry Fonda as Whyatt Earp, Victor Mature as Doc Holiday in perhaps his best performance. With Ward Bond, Don Gardner and Tim Holt, as the Earp brothers. Darryl F. Zanuck teams up with John Ford to produce. The Earp brothers become marshalls to bring justice to the Clantons lead by Walter Brennan for cattle rustling, ok so it's not exactly like the truth, it still makes good film. It makes great black and white film.

||A Story With the Feel of the Old West|
My Darling Clementine DVD for sale There have been many movies made of the fight at the OK Corral. "My Darling CLementine" is not only one of the best, but one of the best movies that captures the atmosphere and the feel of the west in the period that this story takes place. The action is gritty, the dialogue is to the point, and there are many shots of the surroundings giving the viewer a sense of what is was like to live in a faraway western town. The music is kept to a minimum with no music at all during the final gunfight, just sound effects. This creates a realistic atmosphere in which the story and the final gun battle take place. Shot in black and white with little cameral movement as compared with many of today's movies, "My Darling Clementine" is a no-nonsense story of life in the 'old west' and a great re-telling of a classic tale. I highly recommend it.
