While the original master of UFO's HEAVY PETTING buried the quintet's sonic attack in a muddy mix, this one rediscovers their power and mints the band as a crucial link between early-`70s blues-based hard rock and late-`70s British heavy metal. This 2005 two-disc set presents the heady British space-rock veterans live in Germany. Although the lineup does not include revered guitarist Michael Schenker, the band does showcase the talents of six-string virtuoso Vinnie Moore and drummer extraordinaire Jason Bonham (the son of Led Zep's John Bonham).
