| George is still alive trough Dhani and friends I think the only missing friend was Bob Dilan, but all the others just make the show outstanding. Led Zeppelin / Robert Plant Led Zeppelin - DVD DVDs (2003) Top Seller
Concert for George DVD for sale Very few Led Zeppelin performances were caught on camera during the band's life-span, but the footage that has been preserved for posterity is collected on this release. With a running time of over five-and-a-half hours, this is the definitive word on Zep's global stage-straddling performances. The footage is taken from London's Royal Albert Hall in January 1970, London's Earls Court in May 1975, Knebworth in August 1979, and Madison Square Garden in July 1973. Guitarist Jimmy Page has taken great care to restore, remix, and remaster the sound from these shows, providing a visual and sonic assault that offers indisputable proof of Led Zeppelin's reputation as a rock & roll behemoth. Additional footage comes in the shape of several television interviews, a bootleg shot of the band performing "Heartbreaker," behind the scenes footage from Knebworth, and a whole lot more.
This 2-DVD boxed set features a variety of live+ programming. Band / Paul Butterfield Last Waltz DVD (1978) Top Seller
Concert for George video In what just might be the finest rock & roll concert film ever, THE LAST WALTZ celebrates the final performance by the Band (Robbie Robertson, Rick Danko, Richard Manuel, Levon Helm, and Garth Hudson). The show took place on Thanksgiving Day in 1976, at San Francisco's Winterland Arena--where the group had played their very first show more than 16 years before. In order to make their farewell even more unforgettable, they recruited numerous guests to join them onstage, including Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Hawkins, Paul Butterfield, Emmylou Harris, Neil Diamond, the Staple Singers, Dr. John, Ringo Starr, Ron Wood, and Lawrence Ferlinghetti. Martin Scorsese, a former roommate of Robbie Robertson's, employs some of the world's greatest cinematographers--including Michael Chapman, Vilmos Zsigmond, and Laszlo Kovacs--to film the set in a way that captures the show's sweat and energy with a powerful intimacy. Interspersed into the songs are a series of interviews with the Band's members, who recall their early days playing for empty bars and their emergence as major players in the rock & roll game. THE LAST WALTZ is a thrilling concert film, mandatory viewing even for those unfamiliar with the Band or rock music in general.
Twenty-five years ago, on Thanksgiving Day 1976, five thousand cheering fans gathered for the historic farewell concert of The Band: Rick Danko, Garth Hudson, Levon Helm, Richard Manuel and Robbie Robertson. In Martin Scorsese's film, superstars Eric Clapton, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Van Morrison join the musicians on-stage, along with one-time collaborator Bob Dylan, and Ringo Starr in an unforgettable finale. Guests include: Neil Diamond, Mavis Staples, Ronnie Hawkins, Paul Butterfield, Emmylou Harris, Dr. John, Pops Staples, Muddy Waters, and Ron Wood. Additional Footage; "Revisiting The Last Waltz" with Martin Scorses and Robbie Robertson.

Beatles Let It Be CDs (1970)
Concert for George film LET IT BE...NAKED contains a FLY ON THE WALL bonus disc including song rehearsals and conversation snatches.
Includes liner notes by Kevin Howlett and interview excerpts with The Beatles
In its original form, LET IT BE signaled the end of an era, closing the book on the Beatles, as well as literally and figuratively marking the end of the '60s. The 1970 release evolved from friction-filled sessions the Beatles intended to be an organic, bare-bones return to their roots. Instead, the endless hours of tapes were eventually handed over to Phil Spector, since neither the quickly splintering Beatles nor their longtime producer George Martin wanted to sift through the voluminous results.
LET IT BE... NAKED sets the record straight, revisiting the contentious sessions, stripping away the Spectorian orchestrations, reworking the running order, and losing all extemporaneous in-studio banter. On this version of the album, filler tracks ("Dig It," "Maggie Mae") are dropped, while juicy b-side "Don't Let Me Down" is added. The most obvious revamping is on the songs handled heavily by Spector. Removing the orchestrations from "The Long and Winding Road" and "Across the Universe" gives Paul McCartney's vocals considerably more resonance on the former, doing the same for John Lennon's voice and guitar on the latter. This alternate take on LET IT BE enhances the album's power, reclaiming the raw, unadorned quality that was meant to be its calling card from the beginning.

Cream Cream: Royal Albert Hall DVDs (2005) Top Seller
Concert for George review Cream's set of reunion shows in May 2005 was a justly hot ticket. The legendary rock trio of Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, and Eric Clapton--two jazz musicians and a blues guitarist--was one of the most influential bands of the 1960s, even though they played together for less than three years. They brought their psychedelic fusion of blues and pop into the mainstream with albums like FRESH CREAM and WHEELS OF FIRE; Clapton, long regarded as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, did some of his best work on those albums. London's Royal Albert Hall, the site of what was supposed to be Cream's final performance back in 1968, was also the venue for their reunion show. Sounding as if they'd been on vacation for a few weeks instead of disbanded for well over three decades, Cream brought the house down with a series of four shows, all of which are excerpted here. The band performs classics like "Spoonful," "Born Under a Bad Sign," "Sunshine of Your Love," and "White Room," among more than 20 others. Also featured are interviews with Baker, Bruce, and Clapton.
The historic May 2/3/4/5/6, 2005 reunion of Rock 'n' Roll's first Supergroup: Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker, on the same stage where, in 1968, they had completed what was thought to be their final performance. Includes a full set of 18 live performance tracks, along with 8 alternate takes and recent interviews with Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce and Eric Clapton. Filmed in High Def.

Concert for George CDs (2003) Top Seller
Concert for George DVD for sale George Harrison was always known as the Beatle with the most pronounced interest in spirituality and distaste for earthly contrivances. The intensity of feeling, palpable here in the performances of Harrison's musical friends at his memorial concert, mirrors the depth of emotion on the part of the millions touched by "the quiet Beatle"'s work over the years. The first disc of this live recording features musical tributes from Harrison's Indian mentor Ravi Shankar and Shankar's sitar-virtuoso daughter Anoushka--fitting for a Brit who pioneered the incorporation of Eastern flavors into 1960s rock.
The second disc is a full-on rock-star tribute, but instead of the overkill one might expect with so much rock royalty involved (including musical director Eric Clapton), the result is a straightforward, perfectly rendered, and touchingly sincere program of Harrison's finest compositions. From fellow travelers Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr's respective versions of "All Things Must Pass" and "Photograph" to early British rocker/Beatles influence Joe Brown's humble take on "Here Comes the Sun," CONCERT FOR GEORGE overflows with honest outpourings of love and fine performances in equal measure.
