Excellent Rococo / Early Classical Opera
This music, like all of Jommelli's is enjoyable, and gives a glimpse into what lead up to the opera's of Mozart's time. This recording is well performed, and the quality is excellent. If you like Galuppi, Dittersdorf, Graun, Hasse, Sarti, Haydn, Mozart, Myslivecek, etc. then you will like Jommelli's works as well.
