it is a good movie, the story line is pretty good, some of the acting is bad, it get somewhat cheesy at the end(cool ending though!) but all in all any Heath Ledger movie is good! give it a shot!

I don't remember this one being in theatres, but it should've been. Original and provocative story a `Sin-Eater':One who absorbs and takes on the burden of another's sins, thereby granting him a passage to heaven outside the authority of the church. Whether this premise has any basis in historical fact or is pure fiction does not detract from the originality and quality of the film. Compelling story, sharply-drawn characters, terrific art direction, beautifully photographed. After last summers heap of hollywood crap,this intelligent film comes as a welcome surprise.
