| | String Quartet Tribute To Audioslave CD
Though it doesn't say so on the outside package, this is a straight reissue of Vitamin's 2003 String Quartet Tribute to Audioslave. It includes "Cochise" and "Like a Stone"; there are even the same string versions of the Soundgarden hits "Spoonman," "Black Hole Sun," and "Rusty Cage." Avoid this if you purchased the previously released version; there's nothing new but the cover art. ~ Johnny Loftus
This should probably be called "The String Quartet Tribute to Chris Cornell and Audioslave," since it draws on the vocalist's Soundgarden past while running through highlights of his album with the guys from Rage. Of the six interpretations of Audioslave, the roaring "Cochise" is a strong start, and the layered cello and violins work wonders with the urgent underpinnings and swaying melody of "Like a Stone." The musicians have some fun with the introduction to "Rusty Cage," transforming the interwoven, processed guitars of the original into the sound of an orchestra tuning up. Inventive horse-hoof percussion fills out "Spoonman," while "Shadow of the Sun" is an appropriately stirring closer and an album standout. ~ Johnny Loftus

$8.40 Below is my biography, I wanted to give you insight into my past, but before I do that I want to say thank you for checking my music out and especially thank you if you purchased the album. I spent allot of time on this album and my goal was to just make a great album and make the kinda music I wanted and the Kinda music I was inspired to make AKA Real! Allot of people tell me that this album is for everyone and that it has some of everything in it...When I here a beat I kinda follow the mood of the beat if I'm feeling the beat from there I adjust my lyrics to be as real possible but also keeping in mind I'm an entertainer, Thats why the album is diverse....I didn't follow someone's path I made my own! Once again thank you!In a time where hip-hop struggles... A young southern rapper emerges from the heart of Texas, to make his imprint in hip-hop history!Einstagator (born Steven parker) stands out amongst his peers, Many boast "not only in the underground, but mainstream also... He's a beast period" with amazing word play, concept, and originality Einstagator steps out in a league of his own.He began rapping in 2000 when he met Lil Ganz, the brother of a basketball teammate who owned and operated his own record label. "Lil Ganz put me on screw, the whole Houston movement... It was new to me and I loved it, so much in fact I began to mimic the sound". Less than one year later Einstagator formed the group "Unfadeable" with high school friend Joe Kertesz (aka 11:11). The group progressed much faster than most local talents with a very rare style, and true to life rhymes about high school life, party and club atmosphere. The group bounced from local label to local label until settling in with the Temple, TX based group T.A. (Texas Assassins). The group had a very long stretch, and even more impressive buzz from Dallas to Houston, but after years of being with the label, some missed opportunities, and group rivalry led to Einstagator leaving the group in late 2003. "T.A. days were the best times of my life, I doubt they realize how close to getting a deal we were. We were doing shows in Dallas every week... we were working with Erykah Badu's company but we were too naive to understand the process. When I realized how close we were that when I went into hiatus"After leaving the group, another High school friend Dazz Garner offered Einstagator what he had been looking for. The opportunity to be co-ceo of Dazz's newly formed label Fokiss Entertainment. Einstagator ceased the opportunity and the two began making music in conjunction with Woodtown records, which housed two of Dazz's college friends Mack Tracks and 2g. "At the time I lived in Dallas, Dazz lived in Tyler... It was getting harder and harder to hook up to make music... but by chance we both decided to go back to the 254 at the same time".Hiatus -- an interruption in the intensity or amount of something!Einstagator and Dazz have been back in there local area for 3 years and are finally ready for a release, with Einstagator's newest solo effort and the labels first official release "The Arrival" (due August 28, 2009 with features from national signed ...
