Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Soundtrack English; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re PERFECT HARMONY looks at American racism of the 1950s through the microcosm of a private school in a small South Carolina town. Taylor (Justin Whalin) has always stood out as the star of his prep school choir. Taylor's life turns upside down when he meets Landy (Eugene Byrd), and African-American orphan living with his grandfather, the school caretaker (Moses Gunn). Plagued by racism, the boys' friendship suffers from the small minds of the town residents, until an inspiring new choirmaster (Peter Scolari) steps in to bring together everyone, regardless of race.

PERFECT HARMONY is a moving story in which boyhood friendship and love of music overcome racial prejudice. Set in South Carolina during the 1950s, two boys -- Taylor, the star of his prep school's renowned, all-white boys' choir, and Landy, an orphaned black teenager with a gift for the blues -- develop a friendship in spite of the racial barriers that divide the school and town. Starring Peter Scolari (NEWHART) as the academy's inspirational choirmaster, this impressive work features uplifting music and promises family entertainment at its finest.

$6.29 In Sammo Hung's MR. NICE GUY, Jackie Chan plays a popular TV chef (also named Jackie) who accidentally saves a reporter pursued by two warring gangs--one that looks like the standard Cosa Nostra types, the other a group of upstarts who could have been cast in THE WARRIORS. After the two gangs decide to come after Jackie, he drops his nice guy image and fights back.
Originally slated to be the fifth movie in Chan's POLICE STORY series, the film is filled with Chan's trademark physical comedy and stunts--one of which went awry and briefly confined him to a neck brace. A battle at a construction site recalls the best Keystone Cop gags, and the finale involving a 120-ton truck tops the hovercraft sequence in RUMBLE IN THE BRONX for sheer destructiveness. Filmed in English, this is the second collaboration between director Sammo Hung and Chan in the 1990s and the first ...

$31.79 Minnie Driver and Eddie Izzard star in this well-received FX series based on the concept of what happens when a family of traveling con-artists finds its way into a wealthy suburban community, fooling everyone around them into thinking they belong while trying to convince themselves of the same thing. Driver plays Dahlia Malloy, a wife and mother who at the start of the series has just been released from prison for a crime her husband, conman Wayne (Izzard) committed. Understandably bitter, Dahlia self-medicates and steals to protect her children, ending up on the run from a scary crew of extended family. When a crazy coincidence gives Wayne and Dahlia the keys to a new life and a new identity, ...
