Closed Captioned; Soundtrack English; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re Inspired by the Apollo moon landing, Washington Bellamy, an oddball teacher and frustrated husband, comes up with a wacky idea: he'll take his son on a roadtrip to Spires of the Moon National Park, a voyage with the same mileage between the earth to the moon. His neurotic wife must confront her own anxieties, especially an extreme case of agoraphobia, to follow them cross-country. While on the road, the family learns new things about each other, and before long, gains a newfound sense of love and respect. In 1969, just as the Apollo 11 astronauts are about to journey to the moon, science teacher Washington Bellamy (Ted Danson) decides to take his 11-year-old son Andy (Ryan Todd) on a road trip until their 1949 Pontiac Chief has the same mileage as the distance between the Earth and the Moon. Meanwhile Washington's reclusive wife Katherine (Mary Steenburgen) stays at home struggling with her fear of the outside world--until the miraculous moon landing reignites the entire family's capacity for joy and wonder.

| | Emmylou Harris Roses In The Snow CD (1980) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
Pontiac Moon DVD
$9.09 On her sixth country album, ROSES IN THE SNOW, Emmylou Harris decided to explore her growing interest in bluegrass music. It was a bold move: first, because bluegrass had traditionally been the exclusive domain of men (Hazel Dickens being the most notable exception to the rule), and second, because it meant breaking with a formula that had served her well on her five previous releases. Harris tilted the odds back in her favor by assembling an all-star supporting cast including Ricky Skaggs, Tony Rice, Jerry Douglas, and the Whites, then selecting--with usual impeccable taste--10 great songs for inclusion on the album.
As one would expect, Harris salutes the masters of bluegrass here, reworking numbers associated with Ralph Stanley ("The Darkest Hour is Just Before the Dawn"), Bill Monroe ("Wayfaring Stranger") and Flatt and Scruggs ("I'll Go Stepping Too"). Digging even further back, she also comes up with, and delivers on, A.P. Carter's "Gold Watch and Chain" and Bill Halley's "Miss the Mississippi and You," both vestiges of recorded music's earliest era. It's not all ancient history, however: ROSES also includes a hit version of Paul Simon's "The Boxer," miraculously recast as a ...

$10.35 The Umbrella Corporation's Vault, a secret facility located deep below Raccoon City, is sabotaged and a deadly virus is stolen. In the mansion that conceals another entrance to the Vault, Alice (Milla Jovovich) lies on the shower floor, naked except for the shower curtain. She can't remember anything but, as she dresses, she recalls memory fragments. Then, masked intruders burst through the windows. They tell Alice she is a Corporation agent living undercover in the mansion. She goes with them into the Vault to discover who sabotaged it. As they penetrate the Vault, trying to get to the Red Queen, the computer system at the heart of the facility, Alice and her confederates face many horrors--dead bodies suspended in water, blood-red flayed dogs, flesh-eating zombies, and "the Licker," a dynamically mutating monster.
