Closed Captioned; Soundtrack English; English Subtitles; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re In an effort to get rid of Godzilla once and for all, Japan develops a device which is supposed to open up a black hole, allowing its people to blast the giant city-stomping lizard creature into another dimension. While the hole is opened, an insect from that other dimension sneaks through and lays an egg, which finds its way into the sewers of Tokyo. Before long, a swarm of alien insects--which feed on Godzilla's energy--are wreaking their own brand of havoc on Japan and its citizens. | | Batman Beyond - Return Of The Joker DVD (2000)
Godzilla vs. Megaguirus review
$6.29 The success of BATMAN has lead to an incredible array of different incarnations for the Caped Crusader. Various feature film efforts have emphasized the darker side of Bruce Wayne's alter-ego (Tim Burton and Christopher Nolan's efforts in particular), while the original TV show was a deliriously camp affair. The animated BATMAN BEYOND TV show proves to be an entertaining addition to the canon, and the esteem in which it is held has resulted in a full-length animated escapade for the superhero, titled THE RETURN OF THE JOKER. With Bruce Wayne retired, Terry McGinnis takes up the Batman mantle, and dons the famous costume to go into battle with arch enemy, The Joker. When The Joker goes after the aging Wayne and almost kills him, McGinnis swears to bring down the fiendish villain once and for all. His quest reveals some fascinating facts about the history of the Batman/Joker rivalry, and leads to a valuable and exciting new chapter in the Batman saga.
This feature-length animated adventure finds Terry McGinnis (the new Batman) in a treacherous battle against the seemingly immortal Joker. More dangerous then ever, the "Clown Prince of Crime" is back to terrorize Gotham, but his primary target is the aging Bruce Wayne. When Terry unlocks the secrets of what truly happened the last time his mentor fought the Joker, he learns how to beat him at his own ...
| | Interview With The Vampire DVD (1994) Special Edition; DTS Sound
Godzilla vs. Megaguirus DVD
$14.45 Horror author Anne Rice penned the screenplay for this full-blooded adaptation of her novel, which chronicles the life of 18th-century nobleman Louis (Brad Pitt) after he is bitten by powerful, charismatic vampire Lestat (Tom Cruise). Though enthralled with the undead lifestyle at first, Louis is unable to warm up to killing humans and grows despondent. To comfort Louis, Lestat creates another vampire (Kirsten Dunst in a star-making peformance), a young girl who from then on cannot age. Antonio Banderas appears as Armand, a 400-year-old vampire, and Christian Slater plays the radio producer who interviews the remorseful Louis.
Director Neil Jordan captures the lush decadence and erotic fervor of the novel, infusing the film with rich, dusky tones. The big budget is well used to bring each period and place to sharply detailed life, and there is no skimping on the blood or immortal angst. Thandie Newton has a small role as Louis's Creole servant near the beginning of the film, and Jordan ...

Godzilla vs. Megaguirus movie DVD
$14.49 The crème de la crème of MGM's pantheon gathers at the luxurious Grand Hotel, where "nothing ever happens." Greta Garbo is at her most radiant and poetic as the melancholy ballerina who finds a reason to dance again after she falls for the down-and-out Baron (John Barrymore) who planned to rob her. In another room a ravishing young secretary (Joan Crawford) succumbs to the advances of an arrogant industrialist (Wallace Beery). In yet another, a fatally ill office clerk (Lionel Barrymore) spends his life savings in a desperate effort to derive some pleasure from this bleak and brief existence. Downstairs at the bar, a disfigured doctor (Lewis Stone) dispenses wry commentary as people come and go. This precedent-setting ensemble piece of frothy, bubbly, tear-jerking ...
