| | Nazareth Extended Versions CD Nazareth Discography of CDs
The Nazareth edition of the budget-priced Extended Versions series from BMG is comprised of ten tracks featuring a latter-day lineup of the group. All the familiar favorites are here including "Love Hurts," "Razamanaz," and "Hair of the Dog," in addition to re-workings of the Rolling Stones "Ruby Tuesday," Joni Mitchell's "This Flight Tonight" and the folk standard usually associated with the Grateful Dead, "Morning Dew." While the performances aren't bad this is recommended only to hardcore collectors. ~ Al Campbell

Extended Versions album
$15.65 The release of 2009's ENDGAME brings with it a startling realization: if first-generation thrash metal fans had been polled about which of the genre's "Big Four" -- Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, and Megadeth -- would prove to be the most resilient and consistently prolific over the next quarter century, the only sure-fire consensus would probably have been "well, anyone but Megadeth!" And yet, 12 studio albums and 150-plus songs later -- more than any of the other three have managed -- that's exactly what's come to pass. The group's second release for Roadrunner, whose title apparently refers to "coming full circle" ...

| | Thousand Foot Krutch Welcome To The Masquerade CD (2009)
Extended Versions CD music
$11.79 On 2009's WELCOME TO THE MASQUERADE, the trio that put the "rawk" in rawkfest gives no hint of the rap element that once defined their sound, fueling the evidence that the guys from Toronto have fully morphed into one of the decade's powerhouse modern rock outfits. No longer living in a world dominated by rapcore and nu metal groups that once drew their comparisons (Limp Bizkit, Korn), Thousand Foot Krutch have moved on, climbing new heights of pure rock which, it would seem, the band was always destined to reach. Indeed, the band's full-scale audio assault makes it difficult to imagine that they could ever top the crystal-clear production and deliberate crunch of MASQUERADE. Each track is propelled by muscular riffs, fighting their way into permanent memory alongside the greatest mainstream rock bands of the decade. The fist-pumping ...
| | Eddie Money Ready Eddie CD (1999)
Extended Versions music CDs
$9.49 Eddie Money signed with CMC International in 1997, releasing the requisite live re-recording album Shakin' with the Money Man that year. Two years later, he delivered Ready Eddie, his first collection of original material for the label that keeps the album rock torch burning. Apart from the clean, state of the art production and slightly heavier guitars, Ready Eddie could have been released at the peak of Money's career in the early '80s -- which may seem like a kind way of saying that this album sounds dated, but really means it's done in classic Eddie Money style. That should be no surprise to anyone who follows CMC, since the label's entire reason for being is to preserve that arena rock sound, but what is a surprise is that this album actually works. Money is supported by a tight band (anchored by superstar drummer Kenny Aronoff) which gives a committed performance, but what really makes Ready Eddie a success is that the songs are solid. There's nothing quite as grabbing as his AOR staples, but there are no dogs whatsoever, and ...

Extended Versions songs
$11.49 Bobby's debut on No Cover. This is also the first recording of Bobby's new Detroit based band. Recorded at No Cover's Straight Ahead Studios, in between stints touring with Etta James, Frankie Lee and his own Bobby Murray Band. With four songwriters in the band, they have plenty of original material, which varies from jazzy blues instrumentals to funky hard-driving blues in the Freddie King style. Most of the songs on the CD are sung by Lenny Watkins; with Bobby, himself, doing vocals on "Conversation".UPDATE: We now have two more releases from Bobby Murray and one from Lenny Watkins available here or on our website http://www.nocover.net"Live & Lowdown"This Cd has been a long time coming! We recorded several shows featuring a couple different line-ups of this band and the result is this excellent Cd. With the dynamic vocals of Detroit native Lenny Watkins, and the awesome guitar work we have come to expect from Bobby, this disc is a great addition to the collection of any fan of Detroit Blues."The Blues Is Now" This is the first ever solo project from Bobby Murray, originally issued on the Viceroots Labeland "Live at Memphis Smoke"It was a great deal of fun doing these recordings, with Neil Sever at the board all I had to do was enjoy the show for the most part. I did have to bring down the Hammond B-3 from the studio for one show, which was a back breaker, but the sound it produced was well worth the effort. After the release of the "Live & Lowdown!" CD(NCP023) from Bobby Murray, these tapes went into the No Cover archives for a few years. Now it's time to re-visit them for the release of vocalist Lenny Watkins' first ever solo CD "Live At Memphis Smoke" (NCP098). Lenny's dynamic vocals and stage presence wow the crowd ...
