Killing Spring film
$7.05 Heist adventures and bank robberies are not just for adults, at least not according to Maddy (Kristen Stewart), the plucky 12-year-old star of CATCH THAT KID. Directed by Bart Freundlich, this remake of the Danish film KLATRETØSEN, turns the heist genre on its head in an action-packed combination of SPY KIDS and MISSION IMPOSSIBLE. Maddy is a pre-teen adventure lover, determined to follow in her mountain climbing father's (Sam Robards) footsteps. Tragedy strikes when a mountain climbing injury causes him to become paralyzed and the family needs $250,000 for an experimental operation that they cannot afford. Even Maddy's mother (Jennifer Beals), a bank security systems designer, is incapable of receiving a loan from a bank where she had previously worked. Determined to save her father's life by providing the money for the operation, Maddy convinces two of her friends to help her pull off a heist on the very same bank. Together with Gus (Max Thieriot), a computer whiz, and Austin (Corbin Bleu), ...

Killing Spring review
$7.67 With a number of multi-platinum albums under its collective belt, country group Lonestar has succeeded where others have failed by combining the usual sparkling production values and top-notch songwriting craft of Nashville's best with down-home directness and bluegrass-influenced vocal harmonies. LET'S BE US AGAIN represents one of the ensemble's most mature and personal efforts. All but one of the tunes here were written or co-written by group members, and that undoubtedly contributes to the added dose of sincerity with which Lonestar imbues the performances. Led by lead vocalist Richie McDonald, the quartet celebrates the simple things, from the detailed description of a small-town hoe-down on "Country Fair" to "Mr. Mom," the tale of a hapless stay-at-home father.
Lonestar (Country): Dean Sams, Richie McDonald, Michael Britt, Keech Rainwater.
Personnel: Michael Britt (vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar); Dean Sams (vocals, acoustic guitar, harmonica, piano, keyboards); Richie McDonald (vocals, acoustic guitar, keyboards); John Willis, B. James ...
