Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Soundtrack English; Soundtrack French; English Subtitles; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re If the world needs even more proof that skateboarding is a mainstream institution as opposed to an underground phenomenon, GRIND does the trick. Casey La Scala's lighthearted adventure introduces three friends who have just graduated from high school. Eric (Mike Vogel) is determined to make it as a professional skater. He convinces the college-bound Dustin (Adam Brody) and wisecracking Matt (Vince Vieluf) to join him on the road for a summer of contests, with the hopes of getting sponsored by superstar Jimmy Wilson (Jason London). Once they manage to recruit the smooth-talking Sweet Lou (Joey Kern) and his trusty van, the foursome hits the road. Things don't go as planned, however, to the point where Eric considers giving up. But that's when Jamie (Jennifer Morrison) enters the picture. Sweet, pretty, and a radical skater herself, Jamie gives Eric the opportunity to strut his stuff at one of the summer's most heated competitions. Never taking itself too seriously, GRIND is a pleasant ensemble comedy that features inspired performances from its up and coming cast. It is also filled with enough cameos to keep film fanatics on their toes (Randy Quaid, Tom Green, Bobcat Goldthwait). Theatrical Release Date: August 15, 2003 Grind Reviews: "...When the movie focuses on daredevil acrobatics executed on ramps, in parking lots and in empty swimming pools and synchronized to a crunching rap and metal soundtrack, it delivers a crude kinetic charge..."

$9.85 This sequel to EVERY WHICH WAY BUT LOOSE finds fist fighting legend Philo Beddoe (Clint Eastwood) attempting to live out a quiet backwoods retirement with his mother (Ruth Gordon), his girlfriend (Sandra Locke) and his mischievous orangutan, Clyde. Some mobsters who routinely pit black widow scorpions against each other for kicks, however, want Philo to go into battle with a friend (William Smith) who just might be the only man Philo can't take down.
This sequel goes even farther than the original in its uncommon combination of children's entertainment and bare knuckle action. Also included are biker gangs, raunchy humor and bold sexuality featuring both the elderly and orangutans. Stunt ...

Director Michael Schultz follows up his critically acclaimed and commercially successful COOLEY HIGH with this hilarious day-in-the-life tale set in modern day Los Angeles. At Sully Boyar's car wash, a juvenile, motley crew of city dwellers "work their fingers to the bone" waiting on the eccentric and sometimes haughty clientele. Throughout the day, the young men find time to indulge in personal pursuits: one fellow fantasizes about the pretty waitress working at a local restaurant, a militant preaches politics, while more disgruntled workers find a way to justify their laziness. As the day wears on, the many levels of oppression that control each individual's lives gradually become apparent. Luckily, Schultz and screenwriter Joel Schumacher don't dwell on the potentially depressing aspects of their subject matter; proving that sometimes laughter is the best medicine, ...

$14.49 A surrealistic black comedy that plays on the paranoia and dread of everyday life in the Big Apple, Martin Scorsese's AFTER HOURS captures what is easily the worst night of one man's life. Computer programmer Paul Hackett (Griffin Dunne) makes a casual date with Marcy (Rosanna Arquette), a woman he meets in a coffee shop, unaware that it's about to unleash a nightmarish odyssey through the bowels of lower Manhattan. Upon arriving at Marcy's spacious Soho loft, Paul meets her unnerving artist roommate, Kiki (Linda Fiorentino), and the night takes a turn for the worse. Sensing the bad vibes that lie ahead, he immediately decides to return to his home on the Upper East Side. Unfortunately, this isn't such an easy task. In a seemingly endless series of strange and dangerous encounters, Paul begins to fear that he might never make it home again. Working from a clever script by Joseph Minion, Scorsese's film is both hysterical and frightening in its depiction of an insane, neurotic New York City. ...

$11.29 Tony Randall (SEND ME NO FLOWERS) and Janet Leigh (PSYCHO) helm this jaunty 1969 children's comedy about a family spending a month in a high-tech underwater house teeming with then-futuristic gadgets. They're prone to break into irrepressibly memorable songs like "Little Goldfish" and "Glub Glub Glub," and keep a dolphin and other assorted aquatic life around for lively company. It's a vintage '60s theatrical comedy in that the supporting cast of character actors must be experienced to be believed: Jim Backus (GILLIGAN'S ...

$14.75 Though it only lasted for six episodes, the Zucker brothers' 1982 television series POLICE SQUAD! left a pop-culture legacy as the show that spawned the NAKED GUN movies. Displaying the same comic sensibilities as the Zuckers' AIRPLANE, HOT SHOTS, and TOP SECRET, the sitcom parodies serious police dramas through the zany crime-fighting antics of bumbling detective Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen, who lets the sight gags and double entendres fly with his trademark deadpan style). ...
