This is one of the best movies ever made in my opinion. From the storyline to the cinematography the movie was very exceptional.

 Good Film
This movie wasn't that bad but could of been alot better. I'm suprised that T-Boz was in this movie. I once again seen Tyrin Turner as the rico (the one with that girl wig on). Dmx and Nas played their roles real well..and there should be a sequel to this

ill admit, the first time i saw belly, i wasnt blown away. but the second time i saw it, maybe i was paying more attention or something. boy, this movie is ridiculous. great story. dmx is an amazing actor in this one, and the way that it is filmed is really unique.props 2 hype. hey, nas, dmx, tboz its a banger for sure.

This has to be one of the best Hip-Hop movies ever made if you have seen other movies. Great use of the camera and color's by Hype Williams. Just give it a try leave the critics out of these one

open your ears and close your mouth
it show you just how greed takes over and you forget whats right and whats wrong. also towards the end when x finds himself in religion, the man always use drugs and dirty money to bring the playa down. seen it a lot and enjoy every second. when you watch a movie , you need to listen. my people are still brainwashed when will we ever learn

Rapper Memphis Bleek and his Roc-A-Fella crew star in this gritty urban crime drama based on actual events. First-time director Abdul Malik Abbot smartly eschews any morality, romance or phony glamour in favor of a practical, no-nonsense, sex-and-violence approach. The film's real strength, however, is the naturalistic performances of the actors and their ease with the quotable, expletive-rich dialogue. STATE PROPERTY should delight viewers schooled in rap music and gangster films, but others may find themselves needing subtitles to decipher the thick slang. It's filmed on digital video, blown up to 35mm for theatrical release.
