Belly Movie Review Average Rating: (4.3 out of 5 stars) Urban Scarface This is one of the best movies ever made in my opinion. From the storyline to the cinematography the movie was very exceptional. Submitted by knowtheledge007 (Milwaukee, WI, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
Good Film This movie wasn't that bad but could of been alot better. I'm suprised that T-Boz was in this movie. I once again seen Tyrin Turner as the rico (the one with that girl wig on). Dmx and Nas played their roles real well..and there should be a sequel to this Submitted by mikebville (Dover, PA, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 2 found this helpful.

Belly movie DVD
$10.05 Rapper Memphis Bleek and his Roc-A-Fella crew star in this gritty urban crime drama based on actual events. Determined to make big cash, local Philly thug Beans (Beanie Siegel) forms a gang he dubs the A.B.M. (All 'Bout Money) and declares that all his rivals better "get down or lay down." Bleek, Jay-Z, Omillio Sparks, Freeway, and Damon Dash are some of his friends and enemies along the way. Beans earns plenty of cash, and a nice home in the suburbs for his family, but like all movie gangsters he doesn't know when to quit. The body count rises, his old lady (Sundy Carter) gets kidnapped, and incarceration threatens when a surviving victim decides to rat Beans out to the cops.
First-time director Abdul Malik Abbot smartly eschews any morality, romance or phony glamour in favor of a practical, no-nonsense, sex-and-violence approach. The film's real strength, however, is the naturalistic performances of the actors and their ease with the quotable, expletive-rich dialogue. STATE PROPERTY should delight viewers schooled in rap music and gangster films, but others may find themselves needing subtitles to decipher the thick slang. It's filmed on digital video, blown up to 35mm for theatrical release.
Beanie Sigel, Damon Dash, Jay-Z, Memphis Bleek, Omillio Sparks, Sundy Carter - Director: Abdul Malik Abbott Frustrated with being broke, Beans decides that the only way to grasp the American Dream is to take it. "State Property" follows Beans and his crew, the ABM, as they take over the ...

$28.65 Made in 1962 on an extremely low budget, Herk Harvey's classic CARNIVAL OF SOULS has become legendary for its ability to create a tensely creepy atmosphere with virtually no special effects. A young woman (Candace Hilligoss) is involved in a car crash when her car falls off a bridge while drag racing with some friends. After she pulls herself from the river, she moves to a new town to take a job as a church organist. Meanwhile, a distinctly eerie and hollow-faced man seems to be following her wherever she goes, while an abandoned lakeside amusement park beckons her with an almost ...
| | Last Temptation Of Christ DVD (1988) Widescreen
Belly movie DVD
$31.25 This striking vision from the mind of director Martin Scorsese offers an allegorical interpretation of the last days of Jesus Christ, based on the book by Nikos Kazantzakis. Based strictly on Kazantzakis's book, the film has a very different focus than past portraits of the "Messiah." This Jesus (Willem Defoe) is a man wracked with doubt over his position among his followers and fear of the role God has chosen for him, as well as the pain that must accompany it. He is unsure whether the messages he receives come from God or Satan, and he is tempted by a mortal life filled with earthly possessions and sensual love, resulting in a controversial, though genuinely sympathetic, account of Christianity's most revered figure.
Scorsese establishes a dreamlike mood by combining Michael Ballhaus‘s photography with a transcendent soundtrack by Peter Gabriel in order to fully explore the idea that perhaps Jesus was both God and man. Rather than train his assembled cast to deliver their lines in historically accurate dialects, Scorsese lets each individual speak with their true accent, which makes ...

$10.39 Famed for laying down some innovative stoner raps, Cypress Hill were one of the first Latino hip hop acts to crossover into the mainstream. Their early songs leaned heavily towards their roots, with subject matter covering police evasion and smoking the killer weed, all backed up by some killer tunes from DJ Muggs. Their music progressed to take in the rap/rock genre, and their infamous live shows featured a variety of novelty props, as well as a nod towards the legalize marijuana campaign. | | Jeff Dunham - Arguing With Myself DVD (2005) Widescreen
Belly video
$11.35 Comedian Jeff Dunham teams up with loud-mouthed pals Bubba J, Peanut, Jose Jalapeno, Walter, and Sweet Daddy Joe for a live act showcasing all of his standup and ventriloquist talents.
Jeff Dunham blends the age-old craft of ventriloquism with the modern art of snark in this hilarious comedy concert. Recorded live in 2006, ARGUING WITH MYSELF features Dunham playing straight man to a team of unruly, irreverent puppets: Sweet Daddy D, a smooth-talking Pimp; Jose Jalapeño, a smooth-talking pepper on a stick; Bubba J, NASCAR’s biggest fan; and Walter, a dirty old man with a hilarious sneer. Dunham and his foam friends riff on race, politics, and relationships, proffering banter so quick-witted you forget there's only one sentient being on stage.
Breathing life into an elderly curmudgeon, a purple human-like creature from the Micronesian islands, and a self-effacing talking jalapeo on a stick, Jeff Dunham is straight man to some of the funniest partners in show business! His comedic skill and impeccable technique serve as slight of hand, however, drawing attention away from the fact that Dunham is a ventriloquist ...
